So let me preface this by saying, the food itself was flavorful. Not going to speak bad about that. Probably won't return due to their lack of customer service, and sketchy responses but outside of that,it was OK. A few issues I tried to bring up to the cashier/waitress when checking out, which was met with dismissal and "things are just different here". Disappointed, especially when another option is up the block . One- ordered a stk quesadilla, and as I said, great flavor, just not what I was expecting. Typically I'd expect a Mexican restaurant to offer a steak quesadilla with actual cut up steak &seasoned well, but this was a cheesesteak quesadilla which was a a disappointing surprise. Wasn't going to send it back b/c at that point since it was made. Next- they offer on the menu the option for rice&beans or lettuce, tomato &sour cream with the quesadilla. I opted for the rice/beans (but asked for just rice). Upon receiving the receipt I noticed they upcharged me $2.50 for that, which wasn't stated on the menu. After asking the cashier she said "some wording on the menu isn't accurate" and just stared... I said "oh ok,well it's stated elsewhere when its upcharged and it wasn't there so".. and again a blank state. Not arguing over that amount, but the customer service was just lacking. Lastly, I did notice while leaving that they list their can sodas for $1 on their cooler, but they charged $1.75 on the receipt. Again, the difference in upcharging being $3.25 definitely isn't breaking the bank, but just wondering how many other people...
Read moreThe first time my family went to get take out the food wasn’t amazing. We even took pictures and shared because it looked so great. It was a Lady that took our order and she was great. I went there yesterday and the man who took my order looked said he didn’t want to be there. I tried to show him the picture of what I had before so he could make it the same way. He was not at all interested in what I was trying to ask for. So I get my order the cheese is orange and I said what type of cheese is this. I showed you a picture with white cheese. I never had orange cheese put on my tacos ever. Then the avacado I ask for were slivers of pieces. I asked for them with the order that can’t be what I paid for. The spicy chicken meat gave me indigestion all through the evening and night to the next morning so the meat must of been bad. Those chairs they need to get better seating that’s comfortable there is no cushion left to the booths. Aside from that my food look exactly like the man’s attitude that took my order, meaning he did not care how he made my food. I told my entire family don’t go back there anymore. That’s how people loose customers. You build by networking. That was the worse tacos I ever had yesterday. Back to El Limon I go! Atleast my food is always consistently made well and I am never disappointed. Tried to support a new business and got a nasty attitude. He probably did something to my food when...
Read moreFirst time coming here after living a year and a half in Glenolden and I wished I had found them sooner. I can't begin to tell everyone how mouthwatering the food was here. I wanted to take pictures but once I had the first bite, there was absolutely no stopping me from devouring the rest of my entrées. We got everything from appetizers like the chips and guacamole to the tacos birria tacos, empanadas, and tres leches. Hands down, absolutely without a doubt in my mind, the BEST Spanish cuisine in all of the tri-state area I have ever had for take out. The community needs more authentic culture that offers soul food, and I tell you what El Senor offers that and so much more! I never like ordering take out but with your food I will surely be back! Thank you so much and everyone please give...
