If I had the ability to give this review zero stars I would. Upon entering this place I asked staff are there any restrictions with my five year old who is autistic. The staff person says no. She asked did my daughter have a profile. I replied no. She entered my daughter information in the system. I asked about the Summer Pass. She explained how it works and told me that it had to do online. Okay no problem. After I purchase two summer passes another staff person says I needed a parent pass for my younger daughter because she is five. I replied, no I don't. There was no information given on the website that stated I need one. I'm not jumping so I'm not paying for an additional pass to just watch her jump. I requested to speak with a manager. Manager comes out and point to a peice of paper taped on the register that says its the law for 5 year old to have a pass. She was very rude, nasty and told me I could not get a refund. I asked for a corporate number. Corporate stated Urban Air is individually owned because they are a franchise so only the store could issue the refund. I asked, why is the parent pass deactivated online. Manager says oh you have to purchase it at the same time you get the child pass. Again, no one explained that to me. I requested the owner to call me but he never did. Meanwhile, my daughter is weary from waiting because at this point its about 20 minutes, so I purchased a parent pass that was 15.99. I said so every time I come I have to pay 15.99. The manger says yes. If I came everyday like the summer pass says I can I would have paid double of what the summer pass cost. I called every person I could until finally the owner says he could give me a refund but my children were NOT welcome back in this establishment. I replied, why would I come back to a place that is rude and disrespectful. My kids got banned from this place because I asked for a refund for a pass that made no sense. Even after I paid the parent pass no attended was like oh hey you have to come in and assist her. As soon as she entered the ball pit the staff person says oh you can't come in here. I said dont I have to watch my daughter she replies no. Please, please, stop coming to this place. They dont care. They dont care about children with special needs. I took my daughter right on down the road that's two minutes away to Candyland. Every where I can I promise you I will let the world know you banned my children from this place. All because you made a policy up about 5 year-olds needing a pass. No other place has this rule! Managers need better training in how to talk to people and all staff need to be clear about pass memberships before directly sending people to purchase. You don't have to worry about my kids attending. No apology will ever be accepted for banning children...
Read moreWish I didn't have to put a star because they don't deserve it ! I had the worst time at this location due to the poor managment team ! They were so unorganized and all over the place with what policy actually is . I attended a party and what happend was an absolute disgrace ! Originally when the party was booked we were told that the children would still be able to play after the party and we just couldn't use the room after the time came . Our party was booked from 2 -4 and everything was so unorganized they ended up singing at 4 . Wich is when the manger on duty in the purple shirt named Marggie popped up to publicly humiliate our hostess Iyonna (who was the only one truly professional during this big mess) and rushed us out of the room . Later Margie was heard throwing another child in with our party by saying "Idk throw him in with that black party". After moving out of the room Margie began harassing our children ! When the kids ran over to us she began chasing our children and guest with scissors making everyone feel uncomfortable forcing them to get their bracelets cut off . She then came at me and my autistic son whom was very upset so I told her no thank you more then once and she stayed in our face with the scissors while I was trying to calm my son down . When she finally left us . I was finally able to calm my son for a moment and I went to go get clarification on the policy and gain the name of who we know now as Marggie so that I could speak to corporate about what took place . Instead Margie is the one who was at counter still with scissors in her hand . I asked for her name and some clarification on the policy for parties and she became obnoxious , and just plain nasty refusing to give her name saying to refer to her as the lady with the purple shirt and also being racist threatening to call the police on us for still being here . This woman is managing this place and if you do t want to be met with racism or be chased down with scissors don't come here . They're not acomadating or professional . Margie couldn't handle her job and was the most unbearable thing there . This is where they will chase your party down with scissors and call the cops on you even your...
Read moreI visited Urban Air this afternoon with my son and friends to celebrate his birthday. When I approached the front desk, the girl attending had an attitude from the beginning. I informed her that my children and I, along with their father, are members. She insisted I was not, despite my surety. I let it pass as I wasn't there to jump anyway. My son's friend was also with us, and when it came time to ring him up, she charged full price. I pointed out that his ticket should be half price due to a discount, and she reacted irritably. She passed my change to her colleague, so I went over to collect it. She then handed it back to the first girl, who tossed it at me rather disrespectfully.
Later, my grandmother and I were sitting in the massage chairs, enjoying our drinks while the children played. An employee, characterized by her braided hair, repeatedly asked us to discard our drinks, despite our assurance that we would once our massage time finished. She persisted, so I eventually handed her my unattended drink to dispose of. Subsequently, another employee, carrying dreadlocks, insisted that I leave because I allegedly used inappropriate language - which is untrue as my grandmother can attest.
The employees continued to tail me, even into the bathroom, whilst making rude remarks. I was followed back to the front lobby, even though I only intended to give my son his phone which I had forgotten about in my pocket. The second employee told me I was not allowed in the lobby, but I informed her that I needed to wait for my children and couldn’t bear the heat outside. She, along with the initial employee who claimed to be the manager, continued to harass me.
Interestingly, I noticed other customers consuming food and drinks in the vicinity with no reprimands aimed at them. It felt as though the staff were targeting me, potentially because I had corrected a staff member's mistake with the billing earlier. Unsurprisingly, my family and I have decided to cancel our membership. We will seek a more welcoming trampoline...
