John's Alley Tavern — Restaurant in Moscow

I originally had a bad experience here and felt embarrassed during karaoke. But the manager, Sarah, personally reached out afterward, which I really appreciated. I’m still feeling hesitant about coming back, but I want to acknowledge that they cared enough to follow up. Thank you, Sarah.

The drinks and bartenders were good, but this experience really hurt. I wish the karaoke process was communicated more clearly so people don’t feel singled out or embarrassed. It made an already rough night even harder.

Asked a nice young lady if the seat next to her was taken she told me it was open and invited me to go ahead and sit. Less than a minute later the bartender returned with my drink told me the seat was taken and asked me to move. I willingly complied but I've been there twice and felt uncomfortable both times like I was intruding and wasn't welcome. Needless to say my money will go to the nearby pool hall rather than this dive edited to note nobody ever occupied the seat...

Was pretty disappointed with the new bartenders. The bartender girl named Sam was clearly intoxicated and unruly to the bar goers Friday night. I was told she ended up working all weekend treating locals awful. Every holiday gathering it was a common conversation how bad this girl's behaviors to a multitude to locals. Each person had a bad story of her. So the whole lot of us decided it's best we stop going to Johns and switch to another bar. We will all return when...
