TLDR: Staff are petty jerks who mess up orders and then get mad when you want them to fix it.
There are not a lot of Carl's Jr.s where I live, so on a road trip my boyfriend and I stopped at the Moses Lake location for my very first visit there. I was kind of excited since I'd never had them before. I just order their standard All Star burger with no cheese. The staff at the window were a little cold, but no big deal, I'm not a stickler for overly friendly service. Unfortunately my order came with cheese, also not a huge deal, many places get that wrong and I don't really mind going back around. So I drove around and let them know their mistake and they fixed it. We pulled into a parking spot to eat really quick and I opened my new burger to discover a sad excuse for a burger. The bag was covered in gease, bun was folded over and there was sauce everywhere, nothing like the first burger I had ordered. It looked like they'd thrown it against a wall and then wrapped up what they could catch after it fell. It was possibly the pettiest thing I've ever seen a business do. It was their fault for Christ's sake! I know I asked for no cheese because I ALWAYS ask for no cheese because I hate Amercian cheese, I can't stand it. Even when it was my fault I've never had someone who needed to fix my order do this, it was unbelievably unprofessional. I'm not sure the food was good enough to be worth going back for after that kind of service. If you make a mistake, own up to it, don't take out the anger that should be directed on yourself out on a customer. I only do reviews if I have a particularly bad or good time and Carl's Jr. definitely left a bad taste...
Read moreI live 30 min away from this Carl Jr’s in a small rural town. I happened to be in town for an appointment and ordered ahead using the app so I could pick up my food on my way back out of town. My food was ready when I got there making for a seamless transition on my way home. I get home and find out that my ENTIRE order is wrong. I ordered 2 famous star meals, one burger WITHOUT CHEESE (because my daughter is allergic to dairy), no tomatoes and no onion. The other one for me was as is. I get 2 burgers WITH CHEESE, and one with bacon. Both have onion, both have no tomato. Mind you, I had driven 30 min and had gotten home before I discovered this.
I called up the restaurant to let them know they messed up my order and wanted to know how they could make it right. I had spent $35 at their establishment… and online order that was SPECIFIC! I was told that I would only be able to get a refund if I brought the burger back in to the restaurant as they don’t do refunds on online orders or over the phone. Now I have worked a few food jobs in my day and I KNOW they just throw the food away that they take back and count it as waste. I told them I was willing to send pictures, but I was NOT going to spend 30 min driving back into town for them to throw a hamburger away and then give me my money back on my card when they can do that from a distance. And I wasn’t going to hang onto the burger for several weeks until I was back in town again.
I know the customer isn’t always right, but they SEVERELY SCREWED UP and I want everyone to know the lousy customer service I got from...
Read moreI love Carl's Jr. However, this particular restaurant is always filthy. Nobody was there, yet near every table was dirty and nobody was working on cleaning them. Food was great. Drive through would've probably been better as far as overall experience.
12/14/18 Update: tried the drive through, ordered 3 meals. They don't offer drink carriers? Ok. Not very friendly? Ok. Get our food. Noticed regular fries, so I pulled around and parked. Right as we're walking in, the entire staff is just staring at us as if we have no right to be there. The girl at the counter seemed very annoyed as we let her know we got the wrong fries, she cut her eyes at us stating in a very snotty way, "oh it's gonna be a few minutes then", we said ok no problem and thanked her, eyes roll all around. Really amazed at the staff. Do you really not like your customers that much? We weren't rude to any of you yet we're treated like the unpopular kids in high school, yes that's exactly how it felt. I hope y'all get a clue soon, there is never a reason to make people feel uncomfortable nor unwelcomed when they are spending money and choosing to spend it at your business. $30.00 was spent for me to promise I will never ever return to...
