The food is Wendy’s and you know what you are getting. It has been consistent every time I go there. What is also consistent are the employees and their lack of cleanliness and respect for a brand new building and customers.
A month ago I waited for my now cold food to be placed on a tray because the two workers were YELLING at each other at the cash register. The customers were too scared to interrupt so we waited to let them hash it out before being able to order or get our food.
Tonight they must have not realized it was Memorial Weekend with a parade in town. And once the parade is over, many people want to find something to eat. The employees did apologize for such a long wait. Luckily we only wanted Frostys and were served instantly after our 15 minutes of waiting for the 4 orders in front of us. While waiting we looked at the kitchen. There were 6 employees working and one in the dining room on his break. There must have been a quick rush of customers because it looked like they dropped everything to serve them. Literally dropped their cellphone on the service counter. A broom was on the floor by the fryer. Frys everywhere. Cleaning chemical squirt bottle on the oven above the fryer along with someone’s water bottle. This was all too much for them that they locked the doors to the lobby at 9:34pm with 11 people in line. Posted hours for the lobby are 10:00am to 10:00pm. This did help their situation by turning away a few customers but what they didn’t realize was when people leave they open the door and let 10 more people in. Lucky for the owners to not miss out on those sales but it must have been madness for the employees to keep having to work.
I keep going back here because I like the food. The crew here needs a makeover. I figured it was just because they were all new but having been open for months now they need to have a wake up call to put customers first and...
Read moreWe waited at the front counter for almost 10 minutes waiting for Maverick to take our order. During this time he walked back and forth in front of us prepping another order, whistling and purposely not acknowledging our presence. When he finally took our order he was visibly annoyed and avoided eye contact. While we waited, a line of about 6 more guests formed behind us. After he finally took my order (which he messed up on) once again he went back to whistling and ignoring the other guests. 4 of them left. When I finally went up to get my order, Maverick, still hadn’t taken the other customers orders. I let him know 4 people had already left because he refused to acknowledge them or even let them know he would be with them shortly. He just walked around whistling purposely ignoring them. He laughed at me when I told him this and said if they were in a hurry they could use the kiosk. They didn’t want to use the kiosk either and shouldn’t be obligated to. It’s his job to take orders. Maverick smirked once again and told me sorry but there’s nothing he can do about it. I told him yes there is you can take these people order and stop ignoring them. To which he replied, I’m not ignoring them I’m busy and they can go use the kiosk. All in all a horrible experience. No one was apologetic, they all made excuses for their behavior, our food was cold when we got it and our...
Read moreWe had a lot of trouble ordering because the person at the register had no idea what was on the menu. He told us a #11 was the same as a #8, but with more "stuff". Turns out #8 was a burger and #11 was a chicken sandwich. We were too far away from the menu to read the small print. When we discovered the difference I asked for a manager after standing at the counter for several minutes with both managers glancing at me. When I didn't leave the young lady manager asked someone to talk to me. I asked for the manager again and the young lady who was a manager looked annoyed but came to talk to me. I explained the situation and she said they were short handed and they couldn't be at the front to train the trainee. Excuse me? You don't put a trainee that doesn't know the menu at the front. Put him making french fries and put someone knowledgeable at the front. Sounds to me like the managers need to be trained. I would have given less stars but my meal...
