KFC & Taco Bell — Restaurant in Mount Airy

OK so first off let me start by saying I live in Mount Airy and I just remembered why I drive to the one in Frederick. This place is the worst you place your order even if it’s for a single item like a taco and you literally have to wait 10 minutes. The staff takes your money and ask you to pull around and park in the parking lot. Then you see them handing food into wrong cars people going through the food then handing the food back where the foods are already been unwrapped for the people to see that it’s not theirs and then they bring it to you when other people have touched your food so unsanitary. I ask them why this practice is done and the one gentleman was very nice and he said that the manager makes them do this because they’re on a time and the drive-through and it helps with their system. So I guess they found a way to outsmart the system and show that it’s literally taking customers 10 to 15 minutes to get their food. Also, today I went because it was on my way from work and I did not want to pass it and go 15 minutes out the way to my normal Taco Bell in Frederick that I ordered a simple chicken enchilada burrito with no red sauce I repeated the order to the lady twice. Got home bitten into it boom all allergic No lips, swollen just a bad place to be at. I do not recommend this Taco Bell to anyone but I do recommend the Taco Bell off of E. Patrick St. they’re great and the staff is competent in what they’re doing. This staff is not held accountable and they cheat the system so I hope a manager reads this and knows that your staff is running the drive-through clock and having people park and still wait 20 minutes...

Update 5/1 I never thought the worst fast food restaurant in history could get worse. They will not give you a refund even if they sell you product that they don't have and take your money out of your hand. They will come back to you in 5 minutes and say sorry we don't have that and when you say okay give me my money back they look you in the eye and say no. Then they're not at all helpful on selecting substitutions. You have to do all the math yourself and figure it out yourself and they will not accommodate you with even one penny of extra value for the amount of time and effort that you have wasted in their criminal and fraudulent Enterprise of a restaurant. Literally, the worst individual fast food store I have ever experienced in my entire life!

Literally the worst fast food restaurant I've ever encountered. They are rude and lazy. They never have food prepared. They have a chicken special today and at 5pm they have no chicken.. I ordered 15 minutes before I arrived at the store and then when I got to the store they told me it was going to be another 10 minutes. Right now we're at 18 minutes and there's still no chicken. She just handed me my food and did not say thank you or even make eye contact just pushed it across the counter. These people are awful this restaurant is awful this is the worst experience that you will ever have and I could tell you stories it is continuous it is all the time it is every...

The food was typical Taco Bell food which for me is a good thing. But the food was the only thing good about my experience at the Mt Airy Taco Bell/KFC. I tried ordering ahead with the Taco Bell app but the Mt Airy Taco Bell would not come up in the app even when I entered the zip code. I thought maybe I needed to be closer so I started driving toward the restaurant. Finally, when I was a couple blocks away from the restaurant, it did come up in the app with a notice saying, "This Taco Bell does not accept mobile orders." When I arrived at the restaurant I saw that the drive through line was extremely long so I parked and walked up to the door to order inside at the counter. The door was locked with a sign on the door saying that the inside service area was closed for the safety of the customers, protecting customers from COVID-19. They only served customers through the drive-thru window where the person who handles EVERYONE'S dirty money and credit cards is the same person who hands you your food. So much for caring about your customers. I was told by people who live locally in Mt Airy that their Taco Bell / KFC sucks and now I have had an unhappy...
