Frequent customer and was very disappointed by our dining experience this evening. We went to dinner to celebrate my grandsons birthday, and were comfortably seated at our table with a booth, which was great to accommodate our 2 year old. The chef came to the table and asked us to move because he said the table was not working. When dining with a 2 year old moving all of your items isn’t an easy task, but we managed. Shortly after we were moved, guests were seated at the table we were asked to be moved from and served from there! Although this did not make sense the dinner went on and we were served lo mein that was thin pasta noodles and they were undercooked, the rice was hard and undercooked. They forgot the shrimp with our shrimp and chicken order, and when cutting food to toss into peoples mouth, including people who were not with our group, the chef took chicken from my grandsons plate and cut it to throw to people! The table behind us received balloons, candle, the gong and microphone for a birthday celebration that did not even exist. When we arrived we overheard the owner asking if they were there to celebrate a birthday and the guests said no, but they did acknowledge their kid had a birthday later this month. This would not normally have bothered me except we received no celebration for my grandsons birthday or the elder gentlemen that was there with his family whom also was celebrating his birthday, both of which the chef had acknowledged at the beginning of our meal. Again, I frequently visit the restaurant and usually am very pleased with the service we receive, but again this time we were just extremely...
Read moreHad quiet the interesting experience... First, the smell of smoke and meat as you walk in the door. The ventilation could use some help since your eyes burn when you first get inside. After being seated, the table/cooktop was facing the opposite direction. Strange, but the the waitress told us it rotates when its our turn. We ordered drinks and food, waters came first then no drinks. Waited a few minutes then the salad and soup came out, still no drinks. Sat there for about 20 minutes, still no drinks, called over the waiter, she apologized and went to see what the problem was. 20 more minutes they came back asked if we needed anything, still asking for our drinks, it was a beer and a cosmo...not that hard. Finally, they turned the grille aroung, which was amusing to watch and very stressful and took about 3 minutes to do. The chef came and started cooking he seemed new, not as much enthusiasm as the others at the table. Food was yummy, entertainment was all around us, the decor needs updating, especially the wire ahower racks holding candles on the wall. We might give it another try but highly recommend going for your birthday the gong and microphone presentation is gold! Good food but service is lacking, slow, and strange. I would go back for the pure entertainment for the entertainment of the series of unfortunate events. At least we could laugh abogut it, the poor people behind us NEVER got their food. They were way more patient than I would be and they tried to charge them for drinks. I would have said your bill is on the house since we forgot EVERYTHING. Oh well...it might be worth...
Read moreMy husband and I came here for the first time and we thought it was pretty good. The service was good any mistakes that were made were corrected without us having to mention the mistake. My husband got the bulgogi and he said the shrimp was over cooked, the bulgogi was little too bold and he got tired of eating it because of that reason. He thinks he it needs more balance to enjoy it a little longer. I’d prefer a different sauce for the salad like the orange salad dressing other places use (not sure the name of the dressing) instead of the peanut paste sauce. The sushi was very good. I got the spicy California roll and my husband and got the smoked salmon maki. We got the Flaming Volcano drink for two and it was pretty cool and aesthetically pleasing. Overall it was good and we’ll be back. They also had a button with three features such as “call”, “pay”, and “cancel”. It was a nice little feature to have for the restaurant. We used it when we walked in and once again when we wanted to pay, and the little button...
