I have visited Meli’s on six different occasions since their opening and have nothing but exceptional feedback to contribute. The service has always been world-class, literally, rivaling that of any mature and established 5 star coffee shop or bakery, whether it be in the US or abroad which is unheard of considering Meli’s just opened! The atmosphere is warm, clean, fresh, very well thought out and inviting. The food is simply marvelous, regardless of your selection you will immediately appreciate the fact the Meli’s sources fresh quality ingredients to be prepared with care and close attention to detail. The prices are extremely reasonable, often lower than that of frozen and reheated items from chain locations, thus your dollar at Meli’s is much more wisely spent. Lastly the coffee, the coffee and espresso drinks are unlike anything available in our area, period. I was really excited to try this new place, but unfortunately left disappointed with how we were treated. We arrived at 3:03 PM, unaware of the exact closing time, especially since the “Open” sign was still on and several others were entering as well. As we began looking at the food options, we were told they were closed and couldn’t order, even though the customers who arrived the same time as us were still being served.
