East Coast Wings + Grill — Restaurant in Mount Airy

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! A friend and myself entered this so called restaurant on December 27th at approximately 1:00PM, had to seat ourselves and began to wait for service. After we arrived, another couple entered and sat two tables away, and was immediately acknowledged and waited on. Then a couple minutes later a family came into the restaurant and sat one table away from mine and they were immediately acknowledged and waited on. At this point I was about to leave but I waited, for a few more minutes when to guys came in and sat down further away from everyone and they were immediately acknowledged and waited on. This was only in a span of 10 minutes. Myself and my friend made direct eye contact with both of the waitresses and the so called manager at the counter. But not a single person acknowledged us. We sat threw three different sets of customers coming in after us and getting served immediately, and we didn't get so much as a good afternoon we will be right with you. NO, we were totally ignored and had to leave because of the DISGUSTING LACK OF SERVICE!!! I have been in the service industry for the majority of my life and I would fire all three of these employees for their total lack of service to any customers like what happened to my friend and myself. TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL, I will never return to this...

The food is really good......... better than the King location. But the wait time is not. We went in there a couple of months ago and waited so long we finally left and went to the Italian place next door........which was really good btw. We decided to try again last night and we were almost ready to do the same thing when finally a waitress came to our table. Both visits we got no greeting, acknowledgement or any indication that we entered the place or they were going to wait on us. Frankly, everybody working in there looked miserable. I understand it's hard to keep up a pace when you're busy but neither time looked like a lot was happening as this was around 7 or so on a Monday evening. Mostly not all of the tables were occupied but it's a small place. I can't imagine what a weekend night would be like. The wait time for our food was probably about average considering when we've called in a carry out order in the past they tell us it will be about 20 or 25 minutes. We waited about 20 minutes. Once we got our food our waitress was pretty much attentive, not overly friendly by any means but it did look like there was only 2 waitresses working. One more probably...

It was a Saturday night and I am guessing they were understaffed. The service was poor and slow. This happened to me at the location near Battleground Ave. in the afternoon in the middle of the week as well. I quit going to that location due to the slow service. I am guessing​ I'll have to do the same with the Mt. Airy location. I have never waited so long to get my check. I waited half an hour to give them my money. The food was good but I think my body had time to digest the house made chips before my wings came out and then digest the wings while waiting for the check. If you have nowhere else to be and have plenty of apps on your phone or people to talk to to keep you occupied during your wait, then give this location a try. If not, purchase eggs and an incubator, Grow the chicks to full grown chickens, make your own sauce and make your own wings. It will...
