My friend and I went through the drive thru Wednesday sometime after 1:00P.M. We were treated so horribly by the woman on the other end of the speaker, that we didn’t even complete our order. And went to a different McDonald’s up the road. My friend was the one ordering, and politely asked her for a large number five with a lemonade. And a large number seven with a Hi-C. The woman on the other end of the speaker rudely asked her to speak up so she did and repeated her order, and asked for a few sauces on the side. The woman then caught an attitude, demanded she speak up again, and said “So are these a meal or what?” Which the number five and the number seven are meals so she replied yes, and then repeated her sauces that she wanted on the side. The woman then laughed at her, told her to hold on and switched off her mic. At this point, I was very upset at the way that my friend was being spoken to by this employee so I told her please go to another location because I’m not dealing with this type of disrespect, especially towards my friend. We ended up going to the location on Gratiot, And were greeted by the most friendly people I’ve come in contact with in food service. We told them about the situation that had just occurred at this location, And they told us that we should call corporate and get her fired, and that it was completely unacceptable. The worker at that location also let us know that both of our orders are a meal, so her catching an attitude, and questioning us about whether or not it was a meal was just her way of being combative. I will say most times I go to this location, I get respectable service. So whoever was working that day, must’ve been having a really tough day, but that is not an excuse to take it out on your customers. Please avoid this location...
Read moreI went through the drive thru tonight, it was the worse experience I have ever had at a McDonald's. I usually go to the one on Gratiot north of Hall rd or the one on Hall rd by CJ Barrymore's. We tried to order ice cream and the machine was down which seems to be anytime we come to this location, then after ordering sweet tea with my husbands meal we were then told at the window that it just got dumped out, then the girl at the window didn't have her mask covering her nose and another girl that looked like she may have been the manager didn't even have a mask on. There was personal items a light brown purse sitting on the counter near the drive thru window were the drinks are made. So then we get home and my husband's burger was completely RAW. So I call up there to talk to a manager and got hung up on, so I call back and the guy that answered was laughing when I asked again to speak to the manager. As the manager was getting on the phone she was laughing as well. So I start explaining everything that we experience during our visit @ 9:23pm. She was very rude, not 1 apology came out of her mouth, her response was come back tomorrow for a refund. You should really think about who you hire as a manager and how they treat your customers. Read moreAVOID this location!!! I've lived in the area 9 years and have had 9 years of consistent problems. From staff with horribly unprofessional attitudes to mistakes with the food more times than I can count. Example: This morning no one is answering the phone to even deal with today's screw up. We ordered three big breakfasts, were not given any jelly, only 2 syrup, 3 butter for 9 pancakes and 3 biscuits??? The plastic bag looked as though someone ran the pop machine straight into it (we bought OJ). I'm in bed recuperating from surgery and now have pop from the platters all over the bed and my daughters feel awful, and they shouldn't have to.
Previous visits have included rock hard breakfast biscuits on sandwiches, to which I was told by management "that's how they're supposed to be" Oh. Hell. No. Groesbeck we are so over you.
It's bullshit and I'm fed up. Corporate needs to send every last one of them back through training, or hire folks that give a damn about the service they provide. I will drive out of the way to the Hall/Card location because they are, and always have been a stellar example of what...
