How many ways can I say, “Wow!” When I first arrived, I was greeted with a friendly smile and told to choose to sit anywhere I’d like. No sooner had I found a place to sit in what they call the taproom, a server was over to see if I’ve been with them before. She asked me a few questions and I decided on, a flight of beer that she recommended to get started. I’m so glad I did! This is the best way to get a taste of their brewed in house, Craft beer! Each one had its own unique flavor and taste. But I settled on the holy hazy, my favorite IPA. As a huge fan of live music, I was so impressed with their marketing! Each table had a flyer showing the entertainment they had for the week upcoming, Thursday through Sunday brunch. I had made it in just in time to see an Orlando artist Jordan Foley. Wow! His sultry sound filled the taproom. I noticed they had their own in-house sound engineer and was blown away by the quality of what I was hearing. I wanted to get a true experience of their menu so I asked the server what she might recommend. So… To start. I got the pretzel bites. Now, I know what you’re thinking. We can get those anywhere right… Well. These were on point! They had the perfect crunch to the sweet tender middle. And I dipped them in their in-house prepared beer cheese, So good! I decided on the Johnny Pacific salad with a chicken skewer on the side for my dinner entrée. The portion was huge and definitely shareable. Although, I didn’t want to share it with anyone because it was the perfect blend of sweet, and tangy, the dressing complemented the salad brilliantly!
Because my server had done a dessert spiel at the beginning, I saved part of my salad for later at home. And I ordered the Banana Fosters Cheesecake! There wasn’t a bite left on the plate!
I would highly recommend Eden Abbey Brewing Community to anyone! Definitely head out to this establishment. They are true to their name, Community! That is exactly what I felt while I was there. And the food and beer were ...
Read moreI have been here quite a few times and although I am gluten free and dairy free I have found options. There's a rice bowl option, tostadas, their tater tots are amazing and gluten free, yes tater tots are a weird thing to love, but they're probably the best tater tots I've ever had, and the fries are so good-though I'm not sure if they're celiac friendly they are fine with me (and my last reaction to gluten was from touching flour in papier mache, so I feel safe eating here). If you're dairy-free, it's simple enough to just ask for items without cheese. Their burgers (I just asked for mine without the bun) are incredible and probably my favorite item on the menu that I've tried. Being gluten free I'm not into beers of course, but I still enjoy sitting in the tap room with friends and listening to the live music. There are always great bands or musicians playing which just adds to the atmosphere. However, when I have work to do, I've also sat in the cafe area on my laptop while I ate and enjoyed a quieter section of the restaurant. If you want to brave the heat, the patio is adorable. If you have kids, they have a kids' area with games and toys, so it's family friendly. Seriously, it caters to anyone even if you're not into alcoholic beverages. The staff is super friendly as well and always checking in and saying hi. If it's super busy I have had to go up to the bar or the restaurant side window, and order food myself. You may have a bit of a wait for your food if it's busy, but the food is worth the wait. It's a seat yourself place where you can just walk in and choose whatever vibe you want. They also hosted an event for my writer's group which was in a room we reserved in another part of the building. The price was reasonable and the food options for catering varied. Eden Abbey and their owners, Ben and Eve, are the reason I...
Read moreVisited yesterday as we had heard about this establishment in the radio. We were able to find a seat at the bar which had dirty glassware and was not cleaned either, which signage stated please find a seat anywhere and order at the bar. However upon sitting at the bar for roughly 20 minutes we were not greeted by anyone nor had anyone bothered to clean away the dirty dishes what were in front of us and wipe down the bar, there were 3-6 people behind the bar pouring beers. But never once was we approached to be welcomed and advised that even though seating at the bar we would need to get up and go wait in line to order at the register at the end of the bar. Which the place to wait to order is a crowded mess, it is right next to the stage, entrance to the bathrooms, entrance/exit for the back of house area, it was just so overcrowded. Also found it odd that even though seated at the bar no one was willing to take our order when there was a server who was walking around taking orders for all of the tables in the room with the stage. After placing our order we were never interacted with besides delivery of drink and food. Though the workers behind the bar had no issue welcoming and helping the parties sitting on either side of us. I just did not feel welcome I feel like this concept was not very well executed and they need to rethink the approach.
No matter how good the food and drinks were the horrible customer service make it so I do not...
