We ordered takeout from this restaurant. We were very much disappointed in the quality of the food they served. In the Sesame Chicken, Honey Chicken, and General Tso's chicken we ordered, we couldn't see any meat in the fried crust. It was basically fried crust pieces in sweet sauce. It was just your average tasteless, ordinary cheap food service Chinese food, very disappointing. We barely touched our food and couldn't even look forward to eating leftovers because it was so bland and processed. Will definitely not be eating their food again. The only reason I gave two stars it's because they got our order correct. We did order the Chinese donuts as an appetizer and those were good. The day after I ate this food I had dizziness, nausea and I felt out of breath and weak. I speculated perhaps it could be MSG or from eating something so processed and unhealthy.
I will go on to say that three of the entrees we ordered were the chefs special dishes and they were more expensive than the regular meals so we thought that they were going to be premium entrees but sad to say that was definitely not the case. We spent $80 on our order ordering for entrees and an order of fried rice. For the prices that they charge, you should be receiving a delicious meal with real chicken on the inside of each piece. Amidst Covid-19 and the many restrictions placed upon us nowadays, China Moon in Mount Juliet has impressed me. They make sure they go out of their way to protect not only me but fellow customers and staff freedom direct interaction with one another. Great idea on plastic and walls and even the door to have it the food through.
Prices are very affordable. Food is the best (IMHO) in Mount Juliet. Fresh and delicious every time. Usually a line of people waiting on the sidewalk every time I go as well, regardless of the time of day. They are all super nice. Containers are good and study, not styrofoam and cheap at all Would highly recommend them to anyone that asks.
5 Stars for sure in my book. Keep up...
Read moreI really wanted this to be better. I love chinese food, this is fast and close to my parents. The last two times it has just been okay…..
The fried rice is not good. It’s more like frozen Mexican rice and was a little hard.
General’s chicken was decent, good vinegar forward flavor with a little spice. I like more spice but decent. Dad thought his was just okay.
Mom got the sweet and sour chicken. It was more like breading with small chunks of chicken with way too sweet & runny sauce on the side.
Pot stickers were soggy.
Chicken on a stick was good and hot.
Serving size is good and in the larger side.
Used to be better. There are more solid options in town...
