Francesca's Pizza Pasta-Grill — Restaurant in Mount Laurel Township

I have been to this place probably 4-5 times. I only came here for the wings because my sister comes here regularly and loves the wings. Each time I've been here the owners are very nice and friendly, two brothers. I have to admit the wings are good and I didn't try the pizza because I am very particular with my pizza (from Brooklyn), so I tried it the second time I came in. These brothers claim they are from NY and the pizza is mediocre. Not NYC pizza. I decided to come tonight with my mom because she didn't feel like cooking and wanted wings. When we placed our order we said we were staying. One of the owners said to help ourselves to something to drink. When he said that I assumed he meant the drinks were on him which I thought was so nice. Figured maybe he was paying it forward (which I do) or just because he's a nice guy. My mom went to grab a bottle of soda and I said no mom usually when it's free its from the fountain. So when they rang our order up the waitress was charging us for the fountain drinks. I said I thought it was free he said to help ourselves...so she of course wasn't sure, looked puzzled and asked. The owner was in the back and talking to her as like WTH and like shaking his head and mumbling to her and like no adamantly so I said you said help ourselves and he said yes but its not free I said well that's what help yourselves mean - most people in the restaurant would ask would I like something to drink and furthermore we prefer bottled beverages. But it wasn't even the fact that we had to pay because that is not going to break my account, but he couldn't even let it go as a business owner. I support many local businesses and sadly I won't be going back...

Had a disappointing experience today. My husband ordered a pizza over the phone for delivery and was told that it would take 30-45 minutes. 50 minutes later he calls to check the status and is told that the pizza is on the way. 15 more minutes and still no pizza. Another call to check and he's told ,again, that the pizza is 10 minutes away - this place is not even 5 minutes away from our residence. Anyway, we decided to cancel it as my son got tired and hungry waiting and we had to feed him something else. My husband is told that it can't be cancelled as the systems are already closed for the day and the pizza will be delivered. He said that they were delayed because they're backed up - so why say you will deliver in 45? Hubby insisted that they cancel it and he was told they would take us off their customer list! Say what?!! Anyway, it's been about 10 minutes...and the pizza still seems to be on the way - just not to our residence though. And we actually liked your...

Look the pizza is delicious, I'll give them that. That's actually why Ive been back 4 or 5 times, but the service is far from good. The girl at the register has rung me up 4 of the 5 tkmes iveI been there and she is very ignorant. I went to go pick up up a pie I ordered online and the wait time was estimated at 15 to 30 minutes. I showed up after 30 minutes, the girl says we'll let you know when it's ready. I sat there for, and I'm not exaggerating, for another 25 minutes. When I got called up she put my pizza on the counter and I signed my receipt and she wouldn't even look at me, but just said " theres your pizza" no "sorry for the wait, have a good night" not even a "thank you". I left that place knowing I'll never go back because their service was always hit or miss but tonight she really got under my skin with how ignorant she was.
