I really enjoy Rubbles, the bartenders are cool guys and the drinks are good. I do have to take off a star for the last time I went; the latest bar crawl. I was confused to see them refuse to honor Bar Crawl shirts as cover, charging 5 dollars to cover the band fee. Wasn’t the biggest deal, so I paid it and went to the bar. Asked for a single well (a $3 deal they were running according to the bar crawl flyers), and I was told they would only be serving doubles - no singles and no deals. On top of it all, we stayed 40 minutes past when the band was gonna play. I’ll still go back to Rubbles because I really enjoy the people there, but I was a little disappointed with their bar crawl...
Read moreThis place tries buuuut... theres other bars like Martys or The Bird. Testosterone fest! No girls, 19" TVs, no food, tiny bathroom with pee all over the floor, HANDS ON owners that get drunk in their own bar and then get bossy with their customers, hot and stuffy, dark and dingy, small bar, dude bartenders, no pool table or darts even. no free drink give aways on sports team wins, no outside area for drinkers/smokers, they dont have a parking lot so remember where left your car and bring your walking...
Read moreRampage was great last week, but the sound was a little overwhelming for a small bar. It looks like the band's use the sound booth and in house speakers. It was a little distorted, a little too loud, and way too much bass. Tone it down a little for the band so we can really hear how good they are. :) L[king forward to seeing them again there on December 3rd, hopefully with keeping these small adjustments in mind. :) Thank you for being a band bar so we can have the privilege of seeing these...
