We love the salads with the house dressing! That dressing is so good! We always get the pizza which we love, but we recently got some burgers, wings, and a hot sausage sandwich which were all very good! A man sitting next to us had french fries with cheese sauce, bacon, and jalapenos which looked really good! We will have to try that next time. The prices on the food and drinks are very reasonable especially in this economy. We've been coming here since the 70's and the pizza tastes the same! In addition to the normal crust they've always had they added a thin and thick crust which are nice options to have. Oh and the white pizza is delicious if you like garlic! The owner said they've been in business for 50 years - 1975! We love the place!

Open until 10 pm, this was one of the few places still open in the area when we pulled into town. It's look and feel is similar to the average local pizza shop. There's no draft beer, only bottles. The server was very attentive, even chatty. That made for a good experience. The food is pretty good. The house salad dressing was delicious and made the salad, which, by itself was uber ordinary (a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with onion and a couple of tomato pieces). I thought the pizza good. It had a thin crust that didn't droop, a lot of flavorful sauce, and toppings right up to the edge of the crust. My wife thought the toppings scanty.

It takes me almost 2 hours to travel to get this pizza. I have been making the trip for 20 years and it has been consistent every time. This isn't your everyday typical chain pizza. This pizza has a flaky delicious homemade crust that isn't too thick but also isn't too thin. The red sauce is savory with a hint of sweetness. The cheese gets a perfectly crunchy texture, I recommend getting extra as it is a little sparse. The serving sizes of the fried appetizers is very small. The waitress was friendly and the beer was top notch! All in all, this is one of my favorite pizza joints and not just because of the nostalgia.

As a long time local, when I want pizza, this is the place I hit. Lobingier's is a narrow, slightly claustrophobic bar with a small dining room in the rear. The inside is just what you'd imagine for a local hangout bar, kinda dark, kinda old, kinda dingy, but it's very clean, especially the old bathrooms (which have old style crank paper towel dispensers.) Parking can sometimes be an adventure as they don't have a lot, so you have to find someplace to park on the street. But I don't come for the décor and I can accept the parking situation. Why... because of the pizza. There are other things on the limited menu, but I'll never know how they taste. Why... because of the pizza! It simply is the best around, excellent even cold for breakfast the next morning. Added plus - the beer is cold with IC Light on tap. Added minus - they're a bit stingy on the pepperoni, even when you order extra.

EDIT (8/25): Draft beer is no longer available, but the IC Light in bottles is also cold, and the parking is marginally better with a small lot behind the park down the block where the theater used to be. The pizza...
