Orlando's Pizza in Mt. Pleasant, SC is an absolute gem that never fails to deliver an outstanding dining experience. From the moment I stepped foot into this cozy pizzeria, I knew I was in for a treat. The star of the show for me was undoubtedly the Meatball Parmesan Pizza, an absolute masterpiece that left my taste buds dancing with joy.

The moment the pizza arrived at my table, I was captivated by the tantalizing aroma of perfectly melted cheese, aromatic herbs, and homemade meatballs. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, providing an ideal base for the generous toppings. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, with the savory meatballs complemented by the tangy marinara sauce and the perfect amount of melted cheese. It was a symphony of deliciousness that I could hardly get enough of.

The service at Orlando's Pizza was equally remarkable. Ashley, our server, was an absolute delight. She greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that made us feel welcome and valued. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she was more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. Throughout the meal, Ashley ensured that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience to the fullest. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our satisfaction were truly commendable.

The ambiance of Orlando's Pizza was cozy and inviting, with a charming Italian-inspired decor that added to the overall dining experience. The restaurant exuded a warm and friendly atmosphere that made it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

In conclusion, Orlando's Pizza in Mt. Pleasant, SC is a culinary treasure that should not be missed. Their Meatball Parmesan Pizza is a true masterpiece, bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. The exceptional service provided by Ashley enhanced our dining experience, making us feel like valued guests. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Orlando's Pizza is a must-visit destination for pizza lovers seeking a memorable and...

EXCEPTIONALLY ADEQUATE:

We were excited to try the highest rated pizza joint in the Lowcountry. We were pleased enough, no doubt. It’s surely the nicest pizza restaurant in terms of the physical building, but those who are familiar with great pizza know not to judge a pizza place by the building as good pizza often comes from a hole in the wall.

The pizza was okay. They are better than most in terms of the crust. We didn’t have the garlic knots, but if they’re anywhere as tasty as this crust, then they’ve got to be exceptional. The rest of the pizza just wasn’t mind blowing. The marinara was okay and toppings fresh enough but perhaps not done cooking. The cheese was lacking in flavor. A great pizza uses a quality cheese that makes you see the word mozzarella in your head with every bite.

Now, the Greek salad was delicious. It just wasn’t a Greek salad. They seem to have made their own special thing with their dressing. When you do your own thing, it has to be exceptional or you’re hurting yourself more than helping. Here, they blew it out of the water with their own version of a Greek salad. Fresh ingredients and plentiful. I do wonder if it’s worth it, however. When people eat at a pizza joint, do they want Greek salad or something great but not Greek salad?

In conclusion, this experience falls in the middle of the road. I’ve paid far less for much better pizza, and I’ve paid far more for much worse pizza. Here was just okay prices and okay pizza.

The search for pizza in the Lowcountry worth returning...

When we first walked up to this restaurant, you could easily smell the wood fired pizza dough being baked, it smelt delicious... When we walked in we were greeted immediately by a sweet waitress and seated... We picked a table by the window and were asked what we would like to drink... 1 Pepsi and 1 unsweetened tea, we ordered the garlic cheese knots, and then ordered our pizza once the knots were served... What we liked about this place is that you can order a half and half specialty pizza and just split the price between to two pizzas... The wife ordered the Margherita and the Chedder Chicken Bacon pizzas... She loved them both... I ordered the Hawaiian and Meat lovers pizzas... DELICIOUS!!!!! The dough was excellent and the crust was airy and crispy... The toppings were abundant and the 10in pizza was the perfect size for one... Forgot about the garlic cheese knots.... They were alright in my eyes, fresh mozzarella was the key ingredient for this appetizer... Overall this was a great pizza place to eat at, it is walking distance down the road from our hotel and it didn't disappoint.... We highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for...

Stopped in here as we had seen really good reviews. Upon arrivalmwe were immediately seated and given menus. We had questions and the server did a great job answering the questions. We ordered the garlic knots - they come in 5 or 10. We got the 5. They were small in size but mighty in taste. Then you add the marinara sauce....mmmhhmmm....so good. Sauce was full of robust flavors. Not watery at all. We had a slice of Orlando's Special and then we had to chose between a 10 inch or and 18 inch. 10 was too small and an 18 was too large. Would have been nice to have somewhat of a medium. We went with the 18 inch. The pizza came out piping hot and was not lacking toppings. Again...amazing flavors. The crust is a thin crust and it was the perfect amount of crisp to it. We both enjoyed both flavors of pizza. Neither of them disappointed. They have limited outdoor seating - I believe 4 picnic tables. And plenty of indoor seating. Staff was super friendly and the guy server kept our drinks filled. We never had to ask for refills...which was nice. Great little find.
