I saw that this restaurant had 4.8 stars and being a huge fan of Indian food, I figured I’d stop by while I’m in town. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I ordered the Butter chicken curry, a coke, and an order of Garlic Naan. It took just under an hour to receive my food, and when I got it, it was cold. They also put in my garlic naan as some sort of garlic curry. I rejected the garlic curry and requested the garlic naan. I really needed the naan to absorb the spice for my stomach. It took another 20 minutes to receive my naan and I had to remind two separate employees that I was waiting on it after I finished my entree. In addition to this mishap, the service was non existent. It took about 20 minutes for someone to take my order, and then I never saw them again. I had to keep flagging down staff for stuff. The coke also definitely wasn’t right. $5 is super expensive for a soda as well, especially if they aren’t going to come by for refills. I also had to chase someone down to pay my bill. Having said all that, the location is great and well decorated and the outdoor patio is super cozy. It’s walking distance to most major hotels too which is how I ended up here.

Some of the best, if not the best Indian food in town! Naan took over from another great Thai spot next to whole foods, but it’s so good I’d say im not disappointed. We started with the Plain Dosa which comes with 3 delicious sauces. My wife and I could have just had 2 of these for lunch alone. My wife got the Lamb Korma w/naan and i got the Indo-Chinese style Street Hakka Noodles with chicken. Im not sure which was better. The korma was rich and delicious, as good as anything around. The noodles were equally as satisfying, fresh, not overly sauced, and done pan-fried Wok style. Washed it down with some Indian Craft beer. Giving it 5 stars based on being a strong value, as good if not better, and cheaper than the Indian food competition in the area. Would return.

Naan in Mt. P is fantastic. Our server, Nikita (hopefully the spelling is correct!), was amazing and made sure we were comfortable the entire time there--big shout out to her! We had 6 people sharing dishes--from the top of my head I remember: veggie samosas, gobi manchurian, dosa, goat curry, chicken biryani, fish curry, garlic naan, chicken korma, and rogan josh. Pictures attached below in case I got it wrong. All the dishes were delicious. I hadn't eaten goat for years and was super excited to try to the goat curry--it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend this place. Also--the dishes heat up quite well for leftovers if you can't finish them. I recommend coming with friends/family and sharing everything!

My sister and I ate at Naan at Mt. Pleasant today and we were their first customers for their inaugural opening. We were not disappointed! I only regret that I did not take photos of our truly delicious and authentic meal. We sat outside and it was a totally awesome day for that -- picture perfect weather in a lovely atmospheric outdoor seating area. We started with a masala dosa and it truly is a "must try." It's a south indian specialty, a very thin, long crepe-like dish that has potatoes inside (the potatoes being cut up pieces appropriately spiced). This was served with three different accompanying chutneys were also delicious. We both thought the masala dosa was very satisfying. We then had egg curry (because I like eggs and I also like egg curry), lamb biryani which is cut up small chunks of lamb in an aromatic rice concoction. And we had a basket of assorted fresh naan to go with it. I checked to make sure the naan was made fresh on sight and it was indeed. Of course it all turned out to be way too much food for the two of us and they thoughtfully provided to go boxes. Because it was their inaugural opening, they offered free desserts. We were full, but how could we say not to that? We ordered the gulab jamun and the rasmalai (one of my favorites), devouring both. We left quite stuffed but fully satisfied and with enough "to go" leftovers for another meal. Our server was very attentive. Their menu is extremely extensive and based on the food we ate today, I would judge it to be completely authentic. If you're worried about the spice level, they very carefully inquired about the type of spice level we wanted. I thought their price levels are a little on the high side, something I am willing to pay for if the food is exceptional and authentic, which I judge it to be. So in short, I am giving a shout out to Naan in Mt. Pleasant, a very convenient location right next to Whole Foods -- do your grocery shopping and have a lovely Indian meal. I was a little disappointed that they did not offer a lunch buffet. Our server said they are waiting to judge the demand for that. So please voice your opinion that you would like a lunch buffet! We were completely and delightfully satisfied today and for sure will be repeat customers. Bravo Naan in...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Naan in Mount Pleasant, and I must say, my experience was absolutely delightful, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Nikita. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel truly welcome. Her attentiveness and professionalism stood out immediately—she ensured I was comfortable, patiently answered my questions about the menu, and made excellent recommendations.

The food was simply delicious, prepared to perfection with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that made every bite enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making the entire experience even more pleasant. But what truly made my visit special was Nikita’s exceptional service. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such dedicated and genuine hospitality, and Nikita exemplified it beautifully.

I left the restaurant feeling happy and satisfied, not just because of the great food, but because of the kindness and professionalism shown by Nikita. She truly made my visit memorable, and I will definitely be returning. A big thank you to her for making my dining experience so enjoyable! If you’re looking for a place with fantastic food and top-notch service, Hotel Naan in Mount Pleasant is the perfect...

Ambiance 4/5 Food 2/5 Service -1/5 DO NOT GO HERE

The food was nothing great--a little less than average--but the service makes this review a one star. Zero if possible. As you will see in other reviews, the service is terrible, which is what we experienced.

I ordered two pretty simple dishes (vindaloo and shahi paneer). The vindaloo was the most mild tomato sauce I've ever had, but was decent. However the shahi paneer came out extremely sweet and cream heavy to the point where me and my partner could not eat it. When we brought our concern to our hostess, she did not apologize or offer any sort of solution but instead explained to me what the dish was even though I am Indian and have eaten it countless times (which was communicated).

On top of this, we then had to flag down a different server to pay our bill as the hostess proceeded to ignore us. The server who took our bill attempted to get that same hostess to correct the mistake, but she shot him a look and walked away. We ended up paying for a meal that we could not completely eat. That one hostess is the reason I would never go back to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. She was rude, inhospitable, and...
