IF I COULD GIVE THEM A 0 STAR…. I WOULD. I visited this Wendy’s around 11 o’clock on a weekend night. I expected the drive thru line to busy as it is one of the few places open late so the line was no problem. However, when I finally arrived to the ordering kiosk, the worker was extremely rude. She told me to start ordering and halfway through she rudely told me I needed to stop. After a minute of silence she acted like I should know to continue ordering and once again got extreme attitude. At this point she was fed up for no apparent reason and while I was asking for a small Frosty she rudely told me she had no idea what I was asking for. After finally ordering, I wasn’t surprised that the rest of the experience would be a clown show. When I got to the window to get my food her sincerity and customer service was nonexistent. I checked my bags before leaving and was missing a small fry and she reluctantly gave that to me. I noticed I had not received straws but I figured I’d pushed my luck enough and decided I wouldn’t “bother” her anymore. I also was going to use the app to use a promo but once again I figured that would be unwise from my position. After receiving the food and finally eating it, the fries were cold, my burger was carelessly wrapped and was falling out in the bag, and the sweet tea and coke I received were both horrible. The coke was the wrong flavor and the sweet tea tasted like the tea kettle hadn’t been washed all the way and tasted like it had lemon dish soap still in it. It’s too bad this Wendy’s isn’t better than it is because it’s in a popular convenient area but once again I’d steer clear if possible. Some restaurants shouldn’t bother being...
Read moreSo I mobile order, and go to store to pick up. I go through drive thru, and immediately it is rudeness shortness, and pull to the mobile order parking…so I proceed to do so. I wait, wait, wait, and wait(literally over 45 minutes along with another poor soul parked next to me) keep in mind it is a Monday night, and a bit earlier evening, so it is not busy even. I wait while six other customers come and go, and finally bc I saw people coming in and out through an open entry door (as if for business, as if they are open inside, and nothing indicates otherwise) so I go in to realize my food had long since just been sitting there for no logical reason, and as if that isn’t bad enough along with the rudeness, crazy wait, and it only gets better the woman on the window of drive thru starts hollering about why are you in here , why is she in here, and then chanting just get out, and repeating how I get in here. To which I replied the door was wide open ma’am and nothing to indicate you are closed inside, and it was not even too late as I mentioned say 10:00 perhaps tops… ugh so I tell her the door is open so I’m sorry how was I to know and after 45 damn minutes of course I’d come wondering about my food, and this woman starts telling me to calm down!!??!! Hell woman you try to chill in my position, all I did was order food, and expect to take it home to my kids not wait near an hour then be spoken to as if I’m not even an adult let alone a person, and then you say I need to chill 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️Well may I recommend you NEVER go to this Wendy’s on...
Read moreAs a fellow food service manager myself, I take pride in my ability to treat other food service workers with the utmost respect. And while I understand we all have bad days, taking it out on innocent customers is not only unprofessional, but absolutely inexcusable. Someone needs to come in to retrain the manager. She’s terrible at taking orders at the drive thru. Immediately impatient and rude. She repeatedly cut us off with questions before allowing us to finish answering the previous. Then became upset, thinking we just didn’t answer. When we arrived at the window she was rolling her eyes, snatching items in and out, etc. But it gets even worse- she kept aggressively asking my friend questions, even after I informed her that she does not speak English. For someone so impatient with immigrants learning English, you’d think she’d have better communication skills herself. What was the point of you yelling questions at us, if you were going to get everything wrong anyways? Wrong drinks, sauces, missing item, the list goes on. Didn’t even feel comfortable asking her to correct her mistakes as she was defensive from the beginning.
I frequent this location often, and this is my first encounter with this manager in particular. But now I see why all the workers look miserable in there...
