AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! The quoted section is a review my friend posted to their FB page.
"I usually love going here but today my coworker's and I experienced the rudest server ever for a simple misunderstanding over an ingredient in one of their sushi rolls. She didn't want to hear that what it said on the online menu didn't match the menu in the restaurant. She said it didn't matter since we could've double checked and that we had to pay for it regardless. The server had a rude tone the entire time we were paying, acting like we were stupid for being frustrated by her "nice" attitude and refused to give us her name. If it wasn't for her attitude right off the bat, we probably would've been more understanding on the situation but she remained hostile the entire encounter. Will not be returning here if that's how they're going to treat their customers.
UPDATE: after my coworker's boyfriend went to speak to the manager, the manager said that we were the ones being rude and demanding a price change and that he didn't have to change the outdated menu online. When we were there the waitress told us she just got off the phone with her manager but the manager is claiming he was there the whole time and heard the conversation. If he was there, he should have stepped in to handle the situation. He also tried to bribe us with HALF a roll of sushi if I take this review down. All the more reason to not take my review down and not return to this establishment."
I went into the restaurant a few days later to speak with the manager after my girlfriend and her friends told me how bullied they had felt by the waitress. I tried calling Danny, the owner but he would not take my call on three separate occasions. Once finally getting to talk to him (I had to go in) It was obvious that I was going to get no where. He blatantly lied and changed his story during our conversation. At first he said he was aware of the situation but was not there, and then later in our talk he said he over heard the entire thing while he stood beside the counter out of view..... If that second statement is in fact true, shouldn't the owner step in and handle this type of "miscommunication"? The waitress mentioned in the review above is the VERY heavyset one. (i describe her this way because If you go to Yelp you will see other reviews where customers had the same experience with her) The only purpose I had for going in was to inform the owner of his awful employee and their bad experience but after talking with him and reading other reviews it is obvious that he is aware and simply does not care. This is so sad, especially since their food is pretty good when they aren't reheating their meat. Hopefully ya'll will read this and do your best to avoid the awful waitress... if not the entire restaurant. Customer service should be just as important as the quality of their...
Read moreThis used to be our new spot! In fact my husband took me out for pho years and years ago and as my first time I did not care for it. Fast forward 10 yrs later and a move to Mount V and 20 visits later we were loving this spot - until recently.
Last time my husband and I went here we ordered 2 blue moon beers with our Pho as that was the only beer closest to what we drink (IPA). We thought it tasted a little funny but attributed it to us not drinking this type beer regularly and not having an orange to go with it. My husband then decided to look at the expiration date and they were over 3 months expired. We politely let the waitress know and she said the next time we were in we would get 2 beers on us. She did not deduct them from the bill. Well, that time came and went. She recognized us the next time we came in - about a week later - as we’ve been going there quite often the last few months and did not mention the beer. We did not say anything.
The time after that our 2 bowls of Pho sat in the window for about 6 minutes before being brought to our table. My broth was cold! I asked for some extra hot broth and the server brought it to me and was very sweet.
Tonight my husband and I were kidless so decided to go here. The broth in my large Pho was about 2” short from the top of the bowl. Same with my husbands. They usually fill it up. That is the only reason I order a larger - for the broth! I politely asked the server for a side of broth and explained that usually the broth is plenty full in the bowl. She came back after a few minutes and told me it would be an “$8 up charge”.
My husband and I were busy talking an eating and wasn’t until I was almost finished when I noticed our bowls appears to be dirty! When I scratched the side of the bowl with my finger nail that gunk came off. Gross! No one even came to check on us or fill our waters. Customer service is lacking.
Really disappointed in the service and experience this time and think we will explore other places. Food is good but the are a ton of Pho...
Read more!WOW! Worth it! Stop halfway on my trip between my doctor and Everett and my home up in concrete.
This is an amazing place. My doctor actually said that I needed to eat pho today with lots of vegetables so that it helped in my healing of the damage from a car accident that I was in. I was in a lot of pain so I thought this would be great to get an opportunity to stretch my legs and
so I look for something good in this area and this is right off the freeway. Easy to get to.
Amy your service is amazing.
The food is top bar I love pho and this is excellent beef broth. then I ordered extra vegetables and they also have a topping bar where I got some basil but just a caution. You only need a little bit of it cuz this is really high quality spicy basil and it's not something you eat straight but it's excellent in the soup.
I also added some jalapeno peppers but the spice already had enough flavor and kick to it and I just can't stop eating.
The beef slices were on the large size and on one of them I couldn't bite into it cuz it was kind of grisly and they immediately replaced it with several slices of smaller pieces and I'm good to go.
This is a really customer service oriented place and if you come here you will be delighted. I'm also ordering the yakisobe to go for my husband and I bet they'll wok stuff is just really good. I can hear it sizzling as the stir fry it up fresh for me.
Next time I'll try the bubble tea. They have a actual bubble tea bar off to the side. Kinda nice to see all the choices that are available.
Upbeat music. Beautiful atmosphere....
