Do not work here! The manager has no time to explain anything to new hires, the nastiest attitude possible, constantly changing schedule, and won't even make sure someone is there to let you in the door on your very first shift as a baker. You are supposed to get "three nights of training" that is not the case however your first day no one shows up...(can't even get inside) and by your third day you are left by yourself expecting to be at full output dealing with the backlash from the "manager". She won't help you figure anything out with the scheduling app or paycheck information unless you go up their on your own time and hopefully she's not mad. The schedule for the next day will be changing after you have left to go home so make sure you have the scheduling app they won't help you setup. On your third "night of training" you will be left completely by yourself (scheduled till 5, they won't let you leave till 7:30). The manager will have the heat cranked on so high you almost pass out for overnights but your not allowed to change it. "Manager" constantly criticizes your work but doesn't offer any input on how to do it better. Avoid this place like the plague, the manager Amanda A is running this place to the ground and half the crew has no food handler...
Read moreI placed an online order this morning before I left my house, I drove 30 minutes to pick up 4 donuts for a whopping total of $6. Upon arrival to the store I showed Kate my order and she very rudely told me that I already picked it up. I asked how this was possible considering I literally just got off of the interstate to pick up my order on the way to work. She said that a door dash driver came through and grabbed my order, I showed her again on my app where it was not marked for door dash so this shouldn’t have happened. She then began to get very agitated and called me a liar. I asked her why I would lie over a SIX DOLLAR ORDER??? I said that I could pull up my driving history on my phone to further prove that I legitimately just got off of the interstate to come here. The GM stepped in and very quickly apologized for her horrible behavior and gave me my donuts. I can’t stand being called a liar, and unfortunately will not be back to this location because of an error on their end that somehow became my fault. Horrible customer service by Kate. Read moreI am a boosted Member who comes to the Mt. Vernon at least 4 days a week. I order an Iced Americano with an extra shot of espresso every single time. I have became very well acquainted with The star employee named Mary. She is so bubbly and well spoken as well as phenomenal at crafting an amazing drink. I genuinely look forward to visiting and seeing her friendly face. She is amazing at what she does for this establishment. I am also extremely pleased with the sweet teenager who always has cute nails with reddish hair. These are the only 2 employees who i feel can actually make a good drink. I have only had good experiences with these 2 ladies. Mary would be an amazing manager especially with her being so great with customer service, QUALITY, and her amazing personality.
