I stopped in for a quick meal. It didn’t turn out that way. I ordered number five on the menu. They handed me a plastic number to put on my table. It took a really long time to get my food. The inside of the restaurant was slow with only three tables occupied. I heard lots of laughing and talking coming from the kitchen. When my food was finally ready. They called my number rather than bringing it out to me. It was in a paper to go bag, even though I said “yes” when the cashier asked me if I was dining in. It was completely the wrong hamburger and my fries were cold. I sent it back and they tried to tell me it was my mistake. I told them I did not order the flame thrower hamburger. Again, it took a really long time for the correct food to come out. While I was waiting, they called another number out and set a bag on the counter. After it sat there for over five minutes I got up and went and told the table it belonged to. While I was eating, somebody who had gone through the drive-through came inside and said they had forgotten to give them their french fries and another table ended up with an extra shake. I hope the owner sorts out the issues with the staff because the restaurant seems really nice and new. It would be a shame to see it fail due to irresponsible staff. I won’t be back until the...
Read moreAfter giving this Dairy Queen several chances my family and I will never be eating from there again. In the last few weeks we have waited in the horrendously long drive through line for 15 plus minutes for a simple salad, ordered a bbq chicken strip basket with onion rings only to get home and realize it’s a regular chicken strip basket with fries, receiving raw/undercooked chicken strips on a different occasion, and the final straw was the cake issue yesterday. On Thursday we went in to order a cookie dough blizzard cake that is advertised online and on the poles in the parking lot, we were told that they didn’t have any in stock but that they could order one that would be there and ready for pickup in 3-4 days. We returned when they told us to only to be told that they only ordered so many of that kind of insert and that they didn’t have enough for my cake that was ordered days prior. No answers were given when we questioned why a cake we specifically ordered just disappeared. No refund or compensation was offered (we had to ask for the refund). So disappointed and will...
Read moreI normally wouldn’t complain but I had to say something (17 years in food industry.)
The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I’ve had decent service before but I feel obligated to say something. I don’t live anywhere near here so I googled the time they closed, which said 10, because I didn’t want to be that last minute customer and I know how aggravating that is. Well unbeknownst to me I walked in like 3 minutes before the dining room closed (cashier was VERY certain to let us all know.) I quickly decided on something and ordered it. Got my order and came out to eat it. I’ve ordered the fudge cookie dessert many times and it’s always been warm. This time it was barely heated up. Another thing I’ve known in the many years I’ve been in this industry is you NEVER tell customers that you’re closing soon. And you NEVER kick them out unless you're done with everything and need to leave.
So are dq employees able to do that or is it just a bunch of teenagers who don’t know better and don’t care?
At least I now know not to come here...
