genuinely an issue every single time I come here after work. Mood ruined every single time. I drive 20 minutes out of my way after a long day of work to a different McDonald’s when I’m able just so I don’t have to go here anymore. Zero common sense in any of the employees. Just left now where there were no other orders or cars in front or behind me. Waited 10 minutes for a singular smoothie. There were three employees and not a single one greeted us or even glanced at the window. All three were just waddling around yapping and doing absolutely nothing. After the 10 minutes the old lady (I’m assuming a manager who I’ve seen before multiple times and has contributed to issues countless times) comes to the window and doesn’t say a single word, shoves the smoothie at us, takes the card to pay, and gives the card back and closes the window without a word. And this is just ONE issue. Last time we were the first in line and order one meal. Two employees are standing there gossiping and yelling and doing nothing. One of them bags every single order of every car behind us and we’re just sitting there as our food is 3 feet away getting cold. We finally get our food after 20 minutes. Time before that we order TWO drinks. Again, first in line. Instead of using common sense and handing us our drinks that take two seconds to pour, they send us up to the line to wait. We see them all just standing there laughing and gossiping and not working as we’ve now waited for 10 minutes. THREE cars behind us get their entire orders before someone finally comes out. With one drink. We tell her we got a doctor pepper too and she acts confused, goes back in, and sends the old lady (from earlier) out. With the most nasty look in her face she goes “what do you need” and we tell her we’re just waiting on a singular Dr Pepper. It’s now been 20 minutes. She then goes back in and sends SOMEONE ELSE out who STILL doesn’t have our drink. He asks the same question. We tell them for the THIRD TIME. He finally goes in and comes back with our drink. THIRTY minutes and THREE employees to get a single drink. It’s like how many McDonald’s employees does it take to change a lightbulb EVERY time. It’s so bad that I’ve overheard my family and even people in stores talking about this specific McDonald’s. Drive down the road to Leesport if you’re able. They’re actually professional, the food isn’t cold and tastes off, and you won’t have your mood ruined every single time you go because of the incompetence and lack of common sense of GROWN people. Read moreUpdate (2 years later) - This place STILL can't get an order right. Visited a few weeks ago and they screwed up our entire order. When we complained, the manager lied and said she'd replace it. Went about 2 weeks later and the manager never put it into whatever "book" they keep for all the orders they screw up. Their manager is an outright liar, lied to us over the phone! Then today, for GOD ONLY KNOWS what reason, my husband decided to get McDonalds and went to this hot mess location. FINALLY got our order right, BUT NOTHING COOKED FULLY?!? Well, who knew? Always thought their burgers were precooked?? Apparently not... This is disgusting and we will NEVER visit McDonalds again. Freaking GROSS. Not going to bother complaining to the lieing manager because they won't replace our food anyway. I'd avoid this place altogether, or be sure to check your food before you eat it to avoid getting sick - ESPECIALLY if you have kids (because the kids just gobble it without looking)...
Forgot to give us a happy meal and milkshake. Of all the things to forget, the meal for the kid...!?! Until we caught that the items were missing, went in the restaurant to get them, waited for the items and returned home? ...food was cold As if McDonald's isn't already bad enough? COLD McDonald's is THE WORST! ...$65...
Read moreI ordered a smoothie and a mocha frappe. The young lady who took the order was very pleasant. The beverages well made and presented. There was social distancing in the dining area. I was in the process of ordering an UBER when a manager yelled at me for sitting at a table. She said something about no one was a loud to sit at the tables. "Confused", I responded, "but there were other people sitting at tables when I placed my order"???!?
[THE RESPONSE...still baffles me?] Most of us know or should know, the reference to the red pill blue pill. Which if one is educated is to be translated into Republicans and Democrats. Actually I think this young lady must have taken the BIZARRO PILL. Her response was that all those other people had been employees.
Being a business owner myself: my immediate response was, SO EMPLOYEES CAN SIT AT THE TABLES. Yes she responded but customers cannot. I guess the policy at the Temple McDonald's is, paying customers cannot sit down at tables. Only employees are allowed to sit at tables.
