This place was recommended to us, so we tried it. Once was enough. We had a group of us and were split among 3 different tables instead of being sat a larger table or push two together (there goes our attempt to have dinner and drinks together). It was 20 minutes before anyone even approached our table. There was discussion of going elsewhere, but one of our three tables had already gotten a drink order going, so we decided to stay and give it a chance. We didn't get all the things we ordered, but were surely charged for them. It took 3 attempts to correctly fix the check. The food was questionable. The meals are claimed to be all "made from scratch" but when we asked if there was egg used in the flatbread, the answer we got was "nobody knows". The soda I ordered was flat and tasted horrible. The other drinks ordered by our party (that were spread to other tables) were terrible. 8 out of 8 people in our group had a bad experience. It also didn't help that our server was rude and grew increasingly more intoxicated as our evening progressed. This place has potential. But unfortunately I can't say anything positive about my experience except for it's location. Sorry. We gave it a shot and were disappointed.
Edit AFTER Response From Owner: Since it seems you have a rebuttal for everything and claim my review is untruthful, I will be urging the other from our party to add their reviews as well. It was unanimously agreed that I was generous by giving 2 stars. I've since corrected that. If you witnessed us arrive, perhaps assisting in seating would have been a good idea. Or maybe you didn't see that we were told to "go ahead and find somewhere". No one assisted us, and there were options if anyone on your staff bothered to offer a suggestion or hand. I was not about to send back a flat soda just to receive another from waitstaff that was already rude without reason. If you get your bread from an outside bakery, then don't claim "ALL ITEMS ARE MADE FROM SCRATCH". Clearly they're not, and you just said so. Our check had to be send back THREE TIMES for correction because your staff kept attempting to charge us for items never received. The drinks? Well one member of our party that ordered a vodka and soda swears the vodka was completely ignored, but showed up on the check for sure. All sodas received were flat. The only beverages that were acceptable were water, wine or cider on tap. Let me clarify, I said earlier that 8 our of 8 guests had a bad experience, not bad drinks. Only bad drinks would not have warranted this review. And as far as the intoxicated server goes. You can say it's "not allowed" all day, but other tables around us were commenting on it also. Read moreOur experience at Cabernet & IPAs last Wednesday, January 31st, was disappointing. We were a group of friends who visited the establishment primarily to enjoy the wonderful music by Lyle, as well as to indulge in good wines and delicious culinary offerings.
Unfortunately, we made the mistake of not making a reservation in advance, which led to the suggestion of seating us outside. When we realized that the main reason for our visit - the music - was not being presented as expected, we decided to try to move inside.
We were a group of 12 people and were offered three parallel tables with four chairs each. As a result, we had to stand to interact with each other. At this point, we were approached three times by the staff, asking us to remain seated to avoid obstructing the aisle. While we understood the importance of not disrupting the service, we requested the tables to be rearranged for better group interaction, only to be surprised by the response that it was not possible, without a plausible explanation. We decided to revert to the initial setup, and the situation only worsened.
We noticed that the heater was out of gas, and one of the attendants was not proactive enough to arrange for a replacement or offer an exchange for an available one. In response, we took it upon ourselves to handle the replacement.
Unlike previous experiences, this day seemed to be out of control, with young attendants, some displaying a lack of courtesy and training. Interruptions were loud and rude, lacking basic etiquette such as "excuse me," "sorry," and "please." Some orders were forgotten, arriving considerably late. We brought a group of tourists to experience the venue, resulting in embarrassment and disappointment with our choice.
We sincerely hope that the owner of the establishment is aware of these incidents and takes this review constructively. We are not the first to comment on this issue. We still hope to return on another occasion to commend, especially, the service. If needed, we can recommend professionals specialized in training who have shown excellent results in improving service quality....

We came in hoping to have a nice meal. We sat down and my friend ordered his food right away, but I wasn't ready so thought I would wait for the next time she came around.
30 minutes later, she comes back with the food and then I placed my order, hoping it wouldn't take as long since we had already waited for 30 minutes, and all I was having was a Flatbread with chicken and mushrooms.
Another 30 minutes pass, and meanwhile my friend has already finished his food. Dani, then comes back, and I asked if she could check on my food since it had already been 30 minutes and my friend was done eating.
She got very defensive and told me I ordered it late, to which I said "yes because you didn't come back to check on us before". She then cuts me off and tells me "let's just leave it there".
After that, she was very quick to bring us our check, and then, it turns out she had canceled my order.
I never got my food
We wanted to speak to the owner , but we were told she wasn't there, so we just told another waitress of our horrible experience just for the record. As we were talking to the other server, Dani walks by, and rolls her eyes.
I'm not one to think the customer is always right, but this is just horrible service and terrible customer service skills. Wrong industry to be working in and shameful to have someone like that...
