I rarely leave reviews, only for exceptionally good service or appalling service. This one unfortunately is appalling. I would expect more from SB staff to be attentive. I ordered a breakfast sandwich around 11:20am this morning (8/10/23), which was placed in the oven. The server then went off to the other end of the counter and started chatting with another staff member, oblivious to the oven beeping constantly to signal it was done. Only after it annoyed another staff member enough that she took it out of the oven and placed it on the counter next to the oven getting cold. I waited to see what would happen, but the original server was still chatting on the other end. Finally, I think the other staff member realized it had been sitting on the counter for a while and put it in the paper bag and shoved it onto the front counter space without saying anything. Finally, I had to ask if my order was ready where she just said it's "there". What? How would I know if I wasn't paying attention? Awful service. The SB owner/manager should screen and monitor their staff better on how they interact with customers. Worst impression ever. Hope this is not the case with the majority of SB locations... Read moreTerrible terrible terrible. I literally received exactly the opposite of the drink that I ordered. Not only was it not what I wanted but it was basically water for 8 dollars! When I tried to contact the Starbucks to find out why this confusion caused me to get such a poor quality drink the employee that answered the phone literally flat out lies to me. She first says they didn't have any door dash orders come through this morning. I had to tell her I'm literally holding the Starbucks cup in my hand with the doordash printed on the sticker. So then she sked me which location I ordered and I red the address off to her and she responded that the store I was calling wasn't the store that matched the address so when I inquired how it was that I dialed a store number and it sent me to an entirely different store she responded rudely and hung up on me. Read moreI usually come here for coffee and the staff is always nice—except for today. The cashier's customer service was terrible. She was moody, didn’t prepare the Pike coffee order, and didn’t bother to heat up the food I ordered, even though there was no line in the store. Instead, she was just walking around holding the sandwich basket rack, despite the ovens clearly not being busy.
The girl at the drive-thru was busy handling her own station, so the cashier had no excuse not to heat up the food. I understand if things are hectic, but this wasn’t the case. It’s frustrating when a customer is standing there waiting and getting ignored.
When I confronted her about the food not being heated, she claimed it was in the oven—but only one sandwich was in there, even though both were the same and could’ve easily been heated together.
Overall, her attitude was very rude and unprofessional. I won’t be coming back for coffee if she’s working. There are usually some really great people here, but this one person definitely ruined...
