Okay, I have been going to this coffee stand for a while and I've seen good things and I've seen bad things. I was really disappointed when day when I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it came without the egg and I asked why it didn't have any egg. They said that they did not receive their egg shipment and that next time I came in I would get a $0.25 discount. Now I'm not sure if $0.25 necessarily suffices the fact that my breakfast sandwich that was supposed to have egg cheese and meat on it didn't have the egg which to me is the most major component. The coffee shots are usually in my opinion burnt or at least taste like the shot is burnt. The baristas making them have been there for a while but don't necessarily make the best coffee. I've been to the Whidbey coffee in or on would be Island and they make way better coffee there so I'm not sure if it's the barista, the machine or what it might be. The baristas there don't always seem to really enjoy their job or at least the main person that I've seen there. Was a slightly upsetting because this espresso stand used to be my main espresso stop. My hope is that it will improve in the future and that this particular stand can get back on track. I know that it always has a long line and all of that but you know when you need your coffee sometimes you just need...
Read moreYou pay more for less here. 16oz, 20oz, 24 oz all different prices but come with the same amount of espresso shots in them, if you want a bigger size, you pay more for the bigger size but you’re NOT getting extra coffee or shots in the bigger size without also paying that additional cost, you’ll just get more milk. To top it off, I ordered a 24 oz caramel macchiato (which would typically come with 3-4 espresso shots included at other stands, but not here) I looked at the receipt and it’s $6 for the macchiato, extra $1 for the caramel (didn’t know it was an extra charge when I ordered a caramel macchiato??) and then $1 for each shot. Even with all the up charges, the drink was extremely milked down, too sweet and hardly any coffee flavor. Cute stand but the pricing is ridiculous, misleading and my drink was so sweet and milked down with no coffee flavor, I could not drink it, so $8 went down the drain. Plenty of stands around with good drinks that taste like actual coffee and pricing that makes sense, will never...
Read moreI used to come by for a coffee every morning. I had to stop because the quality of my drink was a miss at least every other day. Spending $6-8 just to toss my coffee half the time is wasteful. And the stand is not close to me either, so unfortunately I had to look for another coffee stand. I now stop by maybe once or twice a month. I do want to mention the coffee that I got this morning (double iced half-caf vanilla americano with almond milk) was delicious! It wasn’t watery or taste burnt or just off. I rarely finish my drink but today I was surprised when I looked down at my drink and realized it was all gone! It kind of makes me want to make the drive every morning again to get my coffee here, but I know that the taste will depend on who’s making it. I don’t know if it’s worth making the trip and waiting in the long line every morning just to see who’s making the coffee...
