Nori Teriyaki Mukilteo — Restaurant in Mukilteo

This place is the “cafeteria food” of teriyaki restaurants! After reading the reviews and seeing the menus I was excited to try “The best Chinese food in Mukilteo”. It’s the most disgusting teriyaki food I’ve ever eaten. My $10 wonton soup came with 2 dissolved potstickers and a bag of cheap, frozen vegetable medley (yes, that bag!). My chicken with vegetables contained the driest chicken I’ve eaten mixed with the aforementioned frozen vegetable medley. The beef yakisoba is dry but tasty, aside from more vegetable medley. The spring rolls were average. I NEVER write reviews, I just don’t go back. This place was so bad that I don’t want anyone else to throw away a dime, let alone $60! Oh yeah, the prices on their website are about $2-$5 less per item than they actually charge! As soon as I opened the wonton soup I called to complain and was offered an extra potsticker for my troubles. The woman who answered their phone said I should’ve had 3 🤦🏻‍♂️. I was thinking they had an off night until that response. They charge $5.99 for 8 potstickers but $10 for 3 in medley water and call it “Won Ton soup”. I would like to start this off by saying the food here is pretty yummy. I’ve never had any complaints about anything ordered- that being said my issue is with the customer service, specifically from the older woman. My boss has frequented this establishment for awhile now, but it has gotten to the point where she doesn’t want to go inside to order or pick up food because she is insulted by the older woman each time. She was even insulted during her pregnancy and shortly after it. My boss is an extremely hard working, strong, and beautiful woman who does not need to be commented on her weight or any part of her appearance especially at a restaurant. I’m not sure if this is something done with only my boss, or if you speak to other paying customers this way, but please think twice before you insult someone’s physical appearance. You have no idea what they have gone through, or are still going through. And it is surely not your place to make...

So this is the best "teriyaki" place in Mukilteo. I use the quotes because that is what this style of place is called in the northwest. It serves generic asian dishes in a plate lunch format (rice and salad with main dish) for the most part, but I have to take a star for one major reason.

This is a Korean BBQ joint. If you want good food here, order their Korean dishes. Their Korean dishes have great flavor and spice. The other generic asian food ranges from mediocre to garbage quality. Now, you should know better than to order pad Thai at a "teriyaki" joint, but they do have that in their menu and it is horrible. I would strongly recommend they just commit to the Korean and Japanese BBQ format and drop the Thai, Chinese, and sushi stuff.
