Miller's Ale House — Restaurant in Mulberry

Our food service person Cheyenne tonight around 8 pm 8-5-25. My wife and I ordered the same things steak, shimp, she got a baked potato and i got mac and cheese. We both had a salad. Starting withe the salad...had big lumps of hard lettuce see in photos. Both steaks were cooked correctly my steak was well done and my wife's steak was med rare. Shrimp was ok my Mac and cheese was terrible no taste at all other than pasta. If you look at the Pic you will see the dark yellowish pasta. Dried it had to have set for a bit before it was dished and brought to me. Nasty! I told Cheyenne that I did lots of reviews when she took our order but we did not see her again until we asked for a tea to go as she brought us our bill. We only had someone show up at our table three times one person to take our order another person to bring our food and again to give us the bill. The food was tasteless. Mac and cheese had no taste other than an old pasta tast. The steak only had a taste when I put steak sauce on it and the salad had big hard chunks in it. I give this place a c minus for over all for being a restaurant and a D for food flavors and and a D for service. I am pretty sure I can spend my money at a restaurant that cares about the customer more than this place did. First time and pretty sure the last time we eat at this...

Millers is amazing! My very first experience with millers wasn't perfect but the manager was very nice and made everything right which made me go back a second time ( first trip was take out ) we dined in the 2nd time on a Thursday and found out they had a prime rib special. MILLERS HAS BEEN MY THURSDAY GO TO EVER SINCE! I was there yesterday 5/27/21 and got my prime rib with broccoli as usual. They're training some new ppl so there was a little confusion with an extra side of broccoli but it was quickly fixed by Ashley who was training our waiter. No harm no foul. Small things happen and you can't expect someone new to be flawless from the start. He was very polite when taking our order but I didn't catch his name. Ashley was very nice and inviting. Definitely someone you want training your new employees. The only thing I would suggest is maybe remind the new hires to check on drinks. Ashley came to check on us but we never saw the man who took our order again after that. I'm not sure how your training is handled and every restaurant does have there own policy. I'd have been more then willing to be patient with your newbie and let him get some practice in. Some of us really don't mind a little extra wait to let someone get their feet wet. Thank you for being my favorite dinner spot...

The food was fine although one of us was unknowingly upcharged for a sauce substitute that was cold and unappetizing. The main problem was our server. We've been to several Miller's Ale Houses across Florida and we've usually had superb service. However, this trip was different. Our server had a horrible attitude towards us the whole meal. She scoffed at us asking a question about a menu item and asked another person in our party if they wanted anything more when they ordered one of the cheaper options on the menu. During our whole meal, despite having empty cups for the majority of it, only half of us got a refill and it was at the very end. Lastly, when one of us ordered dessert, our waitress kept peeking at their progress four to five times trying to get us out as quickly as possible as soon as they were finished. These problems are not to mention some of the other minor issues like taking 10+ minutes to greet us and not checking up on our food after we received it (we would've complained about the cold sauce but never got a chance to). We're hoping this is a one off experience, but I don't think I could see ourselves eating at this particular location again, if not any location...
