I went in last night to place my order. I went in around 8:30pm. They were out of pretty much everything, but they were only out of the white rice for my order so I just dealt with it and ordered my usual with brown rice instead. The service was sub-par as one of the girls looked annoyed that anyone was even in the store in the first place. Flash forward to today I go in to get my usual order because while it was still good last night, it just wasn’t what I was craving.
As im walking in the same girl is talking with one of her work friends behind the counter. She seemed nice and approachable & like she was having a good time which was different from went I went in last night & of course everyone has bad days I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. As I approached the counter her demeanor completely changed. She was back to being uninterested and made me feel like I was interrupting her or something. As I continue with my order the friend she was talking to was super nice and was talking to me about my child while making my order. The original girl however, still looked like she couldn’t be bothered to even be welcoming to customers in the store at all.
I ordered a kids meal for my son. Just a simple chicken and cheese quesadilla, since the one I got last night was fine I figured this one would be too and paid for my order and left. When I got home and tried to open the quesadilla, basically the entire filling of the quesadilla was stuck to the foil. I literally had to rip it off. She didn’t fold it in half, let alone make sure that it was folded correctly to make an actual quesadilla. It looked like a terribly put together taco. My son isn’t that old, so I have to cut up his quesadilla and by that point it wasn’t even a quesadilla. It was falling apart and just basically a deconstructed taco and didn’t look anything like how it looked last night.
For the money I spent, I would expect my food to be made correctly and for the service to be better. Especially because as I was walking in she was smiling having the time of her life talking to her coworker. Everyone else was great, but the lack of customer service from one girl was enough to make me question coming back especially since she was the same way...

I arrived there at 5:15and was second inline. 5:20 came and I was still inline finally at 5:43 I decided to walk in and get the order. I get out the car in the rain and want inside to ask for my order. By the time I get Howie unwrapped my burrito and took my first bite. It was cold, the rice was crunchy, and very disappointing. I moved to Muncie from California 3 month ago and was happy Chipotle was going to be close. I have never had such a horrible experience at a Chipotle until today. I feel like I was robbed and betrayed. I can only hope that this is not what people can expect from Chipotle. To make matters worst I was up all night with my daughter who had the barbacoa bowl and was sick all night. I am really disappointed in this location and after seeing the negative reviews online may have to post my experience as well. I mean I spent $53 and the only person that enjoyed their meal was my ex wife who just got a cheese quesadilla. Again I feel like I was robbed and betrayed. I can only hope that this is not what people can expect from Chipotle.
I have to agree with some of the reviews and mention that the staff was very friendly and apologetic which is why I will give this 2 starts instead of 1!

Read moreI have never had such a bad experience from a Chipotle before. I ordered on the app for the first time today. I went through the drive through and picked it up. The burrito bowl was cold and I threw half of what I did get away. The chips were so stale that they were like rubber biting into them. The bowl that I ordered was literally half of what you get when you go inside. It was a horrible waste of $12.15. I don't know if I'll go back or not. Definitely NEVER ordering online again. I know they have a separate area that the online orders are prepped and I would bet that they don't get as many online orders as those who come through the restaurant itself. I would bet that the food site longer in the online order prep area. Beware if you order online, It could be a horrible experience like mine.
