Five Guys - Muncie, Indiana Review

I had an outstanding experience at Five Guys in Muncie! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a clean and well-maintained dining area that made for a great first impression.

The staff here truly set this location apart. Cheryl, the cashier, greeted me with a generous smile and a genuinely sweet spirit that made me feel right at home. Aaron, the manager, demonstrated top-tier professionalism and was a master at the grill alongside Robert. Their teamwork and dedication to quality were evident in every bite.

Speaking of the food—absolutely delicious! The double bacon burger was fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The toppings were spot on, and I highly recommend getting it “all the way” for the full experience. And let’s not forget the fries—generous in portion and cooked to perfection.

If you’re in Muncie and craving a great burger, look no further. Five Guys delivers on all fronts—great food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Be sure to say hi to Cheryl and enjoy one of the best burger...

Really good burgers and fries. Costs roughly twice MacDonald's or similar, but way better. They had more like ten guys (and gals) working the lunch shift. Quite a lot of personal attention. Edit to add: They clearly care about the fries. When you go in you see bags and bags of fresh potatoes. They post a sign with the source of today's potatoes. And the fries are really good! I've had the "little" bacon cheeseburger. "Little" means there's only one Patty, but contrasted to a Whopper or a MacDonald's quarter pounder, it seems rather large. Still, if I could give fractional ratings, I'd probably give them 4.5 or 4.7. Reason? The cheese is only the usual "American cheese food". If they paid half the attention to the cheese that they do to the fries and offered, for example, some sort of Bleu or a good aged cheddar, or something exotic like a Manchego, I'd love to be able to give...

The food was good once they got the order right. We had to return the next day for replacement food. In their defense, we did order online, but we checked the receipt provided, and the receipt was correct.

Return Visit: We ordered with the app again, and the pickup of our food was a disorganized mess. There were people arriving later than us, but getting their food first even though our lettuce wrap sandwiches were complete, just waiting on fries. There was a line for pickup and the worker never asked my name for which order was mine, yet allowed others to walk up, bypassing the line to announce their order name and subsequently finish the sandwiches and gather fries, all the while my food was starting to get cold on the rack. If the food weren't so good, I don't know that I would return. I've never had these sort of issues at the five guys in Noblesville...

It’s a shame you pay $20 for a single meal and there’s a hair in your fries. I’ve always known 5 guys for fresh ingredients but these tomatoes were anything but. Hard to believe in the middle of summer you can’t even serve fresh tomatoes. Several tables were filthy as well. If you are going to charge premium prices you should deliver premium quality and service. Definitely the worst 5 guys I’ve ever been to. Avoid this place.
