What a disgrace. I was hungry and just wanted to grab a sandwich real quick. It was 9:50 I pulled up front and started to walk in. An employee walks out and tells me they are closed. This guy was rude and wasn't going to allow me to place an order. He said they were closed. I asked what time do you close. He says we're closed. I said so you close at 9:51? He said we're closed due to the holiday. As I walk away a customer walked out of the store at about 9:53. All I did was start to come in. This guy wouldn't let me in. I went in the other door and attempted to get his name but he had no name tag and wouldn't give his name. So I snapped a picture. There was no cause for this behavior. I drove down the street and walked into Chick-fil-A at 9:59 and received a meal at 10:00 with smiling faces. So Penn Station, Chick-fil-A thanks you for your rude unwilling staff that can't work through their normal scheduled hours. I'd say it's pretty obvious that this isn't the kind of staff that promotes success, unless we're talking about the success of the competition. Definitely do not...
Read moreI went to the Muncie location on July first it was about 15-20 minutes prior to close (still hours of operation). Man with dreads that was cleaning the grill was clearly unhappy a paying customer pulled up while cleaning the grill. He started shaking his head and saying things I knew was directed toward ms us being there. Wait a second and look up and he locked the door before we could even come in. I called and he answered I asked to speak with a manager. She gets on the phone I told her it was unprofessional and she said she didn’t know about it and she would see what was going on (she was standing right by him and watched him lock the door). I’m sure the general manager/owner wouldn’t be very happy that doors are being locked and customers being refused during operational hours. I go here often and was very disappointed! Don’t know that it’s...
Read moreThere's just nothing that comes close to a Pennstation sub and some fresh cut fries. I've tried other locations and while they're alright I think the manager at the Muncie location keeps this store on it's toes. I've never had a single complaint in over a decade of frequenting this restaurant. I can't remember his name but the manager here deserves a pat on the back, he's always super friendly with not just the customers but also the staff and I think that's the key to increasing morale and ultimately work performance. He's always working just as hard as everyone else and keeping everyone on track. While I'd hate to see him go, that man is corporate material. For all I know he could be the owner but regardless he is awesome! I recommend Pennstation Muncie every chance...
