I think this place is great and a solid place for Mexican food in this area. I only knock it for a couple of small things.
I have to ask for limes with my tacos every time whereas other Mexican food restaurants it's standard.
I could not order a side of pineapple at the restaurant even though they had it on the Door Dash app so I ordered on the app for pickup then picked it up and went back to my table. I love the side of grilled pineapple to put on my Al Pastor tacos I get as it brings the taste to the next level. I'm happy they do Al Pastor tacos now, but I think they are losing money by not allowing customers to get the side of pineapple when dining at the restaurant.
I really like this place as it's a great local Mexican food spot that has its own vibe and awesome dishes, but as I said there's a few small things that could be improved. If you get Al Pastor tacos get the side of pineapple and put the side of pineapple on top and you won't be...
Read moreOrdered through UberEats, delivery driver was pleasant. Online the menu states most meals (if not all) come with rice and beans. I ordered the nachos and it was said that the rice and beans would come in the nacho bowl. That was not true. Here it is the next day, I’ve tried to call-someone did answer but put me on hold right away. I do understand restaurants can be busy, however, I was on hold for maybe 10 minutes. I hung up and tried to call back but cannot due to them never returning to the phone and hanging up. I do not live in Muncie, I am here visiting for business purposes-my food was inaccurate due to your Uber Eats description otherwise I would have just ordered a side of each. It was cold so I had to put it in the oven once I received it, the restaurant is only about 10 minutes from my place. There was no real seasoning or taste to the meal, I do see a lot of people eating here and I wanted to try it but it was a one and...
Read moreLet's start with the good: The service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, that is where the good ends.
The bad: I'm coming from Oklahoma/Texas so my expectations for highly rated Mexican/Tex Mex is fairly high and this food did not meet those expectations or even come close. The salsa tastes like it came out of a jar, the rice has no flavor, the cheese sauce is runny, and the beans... don't get me started on the beans. How do you make beans taste like soured beef? This was "white girl" mexican. This was the type of mexican you take your grandma to because mayonnaise is too spicy for her. In other words, packing peanuts have more flavor than the food here.
In conclusion, the food here makes me question the legitimacy of the 4.7 star rating and whether the other reviewers...
