I go here often. One time the service was exceptionally slow. Anamalously slow. I filled out a complaint form. The general manager personally called me and made it right. I'm not saying this to tell people to complain in an attempt to get something out of it. That's wrong.
I'm mentioning this story in order to say things are USUALLY good here but when they're not management tries to be responsive to make things better.
I just had a horrible customer service experience at an unrelated field and company. They published my personal info (phone number and address) online under the review to intimidate me. Sadly it worked and I deleted the review. Then this other business (again NOT Wendy's) found my place of business and left a retaliatory negative review despite never having been there.
There are many shady business practices out there. This recent reminder of that reminded me of months ago where the manager of Muncie's Wendy's did the opposite of that and did things RIGHT in responding to customers.

Read moreEverytime we go there, they always tell us they are out of sauces, salt packs, napkins, cups, different sodas, etc. This last time we went, the cashier was on her phone the whole time. The customer behind me was also complaining about her not paying attention while taking orders. We had ordered a large frosty and she gave us a small. We reminded her we ordered a large and she claimed they were out of large cup sizes but wouldn't refund us the money for the size. We also ordered a kids meal and had items missing from it and there was no toy. We called management when we got home and the manager was unbelievably rude and incompetent. I told the manager about her employees being on the phone and she asked "what we want her to do about it"... I moved on from that topic and told her about the small frosty and missing items in the kids meal. Again, her response was "so what? What do you want me to do about it?" Read moreI don't know why we continue to do "take out" from Wendy's. Tonight I ordered a full-sized Apple PECAN chicken salad. They didn't have any full-sized apple pecan chicken salads and they had NO apples in which to make more. Finally they decided they could probably sell us TWO 1/2 salads, since they were already made up and had the apples in them. This was a Tuesday. How busy can a fast-food place be on Tuesdays? Running out of ingredients on a Friday or Saturday evening I could understand.
HOWEVER.... An Apple PECAN Chicken Salad just isn't quite the same without the PECANS. No pecans in the sack, no napkins, no forks. And to top it off, this wasn't discovered until we reached home - a 30 minute drive from this location!
This happens more often than not when we go through the drive-up or order our food "to go." Maybe I'll just quit eating Wendy's completely and make sure I have the ingredients on hand to make our own Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and other...
