EDIT: Julie reached out to me on May 4, 2021 @ 2:40 p.m. Not only was she kind, and sincerely apologetic, she also took the time to make sure I was okay. She asked about our dog, and was just all around wonderful. I am changing my rating to four stars because her service and dedication to her business renewed my excitement to try the pizza. I haven’t tried the pizza yet so I can’t give you five stars yet 😉. See you guys in July.
I am so disappointed. Like genuinely sad. We drove 6 hours from Des Moines for a business trip, all we wanted was a deep dish. We called and placed our order, got stuck in traffic, and our dog got sick in the car. Literally I called and spoke with Jerry I believe. I told him what happened, that we would be there a little late but we had cash and we were desperate. He told me that it was to late, that the system closed at 10, and that he was sorry. Mind you, sorry was clearly an empty statement. I called a second time after my boyfriend was furious and asked that I call back and plead our case. ETA was 10:05. Still the same response. Here is why I’m disappointed: I have worked in the service industry for 20 years. I have spent my entire career going the extra mile to make sure my customers got whatever they needed and that is why I continue to be in the service industry because I love it that much. I literally cried to this man and he turned me away for a pizza that was going to make them money . And they are still calling me currently at this moment 10:07pm on May 2, 2021. Now you want to make up for your mistakes? Maybe try and call me tomorrow when I’ve had time to calm down because I would not be polite at this moment. And I genuinely hope you guys read...
Read moreAs a (VERY) regular customer of Jimanos Mundelein, I can say that I am almost always very pleased with this location. Service is always friendly, from answering the phone to delivery; the quality is good and generally very consistent from order to order; forms of ordering from call in to online are easy; and the range (I live about 15 minutes or more away) and speed of delivery has always been excellent. My biggest positive point unrelated to the food or service is the online delivery. Easy to use and order and even saves orders if you desire. I also like the more obscure options I occasionally use like light sauce or under/well done. If I were to really scour my mind for a negative, it is that, on rare occasion, I will receive a pizza that has a taste of green pepper (which both my wife and I do not enjoy), even though there are none anywhere on my pizza. I believe it is from cooking a pizza that does have green pepper on it in the oven at the same time as my pizza, which does not. Green pepper steam, maybe? I dunno, but it is an extremely minor issue, and definitely not one that I'll prevent me from ordering here...

When my food came the pizza was cold😨, missing sausage and mushrooms🤔, my hot wings where not cooked all the way through😲, forgot my pop, and bread sticks😡, and no chicken on my chicken salad😠 my sons pasta was way to cheesy and forgot he's meatball,😞 Italian beef was dry, and no cheese or extra juice! 😝😕. The driver was very rude, and so was the customer service when I called to complain . . Did nothing about it😞.. And to top it off the driver drove on my wet grass leaving his tire marks😡😠.. Thanks. . Use to love Jimanos when I lived in Antioch💙, not sure what happened to the one in Mundelein💔?? Very disappointing😭!!!! My kids and I where not happy😩😳. . Spent 60$ on food that was inedible and missing🙁😦!! What a waste! Should have ordered from Rosatis or chicago pizza authority🤔!!!! needs...
