Cheezee Shack — Restaurant in Mundy Charter Township

I recently visited the pizza store on Torrey and Hill Road in Flint, and my experience was fairly average. The location is convenient, and the store itself is clean and welcoming, with a decent atmosphere.

The pizza was good, but not outstanding. The crust had a nice texture, slightly crispy on the outside but a bit too doughy in the center for my taste. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, but the cheese could have been more generous. The sauce had a nice tang, but it wasn't anything extraordinary.

Service was prompt and the staff were friendly, though not overly attentive. Prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, but I felt there are other pizza places in the area that offer better value for the same price.

Overall, it’s a solid choice if you're in the area and craving pizza, but it didn’t quite stand out enough for me to make it a go-to spot. It’s worth trying if you haven’t, but I wouldn’t go out...

I was actually REALLY disappointed. I love pizza 🍕 and we usually do Jet's or Little Caesars (pizza hut was my favorite but ya know... They're gone now) anyways...wanted something different. I thought wow 😲😳 Big Cheezees pizza 🍕😋 😱 I bet the cheese is loaded and just phenomenal...WRONG!!! I ordered two large pizzas and they were so sad. One was regular cheese and pepperoni and the other was cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives...I AM a fluffy girl and absolutely love pizza, It would be everyday if I could convince my family to join me but that hasn't happened yet... I was salivating... I couldn't wait... I opened the box and looked and it immediately reminded me of little Caesars and NOT 🚫 the extra most bestest either the pathetic 5$ dollar pizza but I paid 27+. It was so disappointing my shoulders sunk and I put my head...

I've loved pizza my whole life and have had pizza from just about every spot of note in Genesee County.

So of course, when Big Cheezees first opened, I had to try it. I thought it was a bit too heavy on the cheese and the butter. It was fine but I wasn't all that impressed and in another long stretch of time I probably ordered it one more time and I think it was once again, just okay.

I'm not entirely sure what's changed from those first visits but my last 5 - 10 times ordering have been fantastic. It's become my favorite pizza place in town. I keep expecting some sort of slip-up and it to be not great but it's been delicious every time. At this point, I highly recommend it to anyone! To the owners, keep doing what you're doing. The rest of us just have to spread...
