It had been years since we ate at a McDonalds. Due to my 2 year old grandson's love of french fries we thought we would give them a try. It was possibly the worst experience, I have ever had to pay money for. So bad, that we left the entire order after a single bite and went to Wendys down the street. I guess it is a sign of the times that human beings no longer take your order. This has completely alleviated any obligation or even attempt at customer service. We ordered a happy meal and a Big Mac meal, both of which, McDonalds is supposed to be famous for. Everything in the happy meal was ice cold, except for the milk which was kind of lukewarm. It's not good when a 2 year old refers to french fries as "eck". The Big Mac is no longer aptly named. The meat patties on this sandwich are so thin you could read a newspaper through them. The lettuce was brownish green and the bun was stale and hard on the edges. There was way too much thousand island secret sauce to taste anything else although there was a hint of artifical cheese. The fries were so old and cold, they could have qualified for a senior citizen discount. The drink machine was in woeful need of some service, as there was little ice and most of the soda selections were clear as water. There was no ketchup and no napkins without a serious wait for someone to acknowledge your existence. To be fair it was, for the most part clean inside and out. The amenities looked fairly new and very kid friendly. No one goes to McDonalds for fine dining, however you should get something of value for your money. Save yourself 25 bucks and avoid this restaurant...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant ever.! Waited for over 30 minutes for a mobile order and after going into inquire about an update on my order I was ignored by staff that was standing at the register doing nothing for 5 minutes. When I then spoke up and asked for an update on our order I got yelled at by the young lady at the register who continued to be rude with me and other customers. Then when I asked for the manager she then just pointed to the back of the restaurant still doing nothing to help me until I specifically asked if she could get someone for me. She then stormed off and lied to the manager telling the manager I was the one getting an attitude with her. The manager, Courtney, then yelled at me and continued to yell at me once she came to the front counter. I eventually asked for a refund after multiple other customer who had also been waiting at length with no assistance came to my defense in an effort to help me. The manager then stormed off and refused to come back up front to give me a refund or get me an update on my order. I left without the food I ordered and PAID for and without a refund either. I filed a complaint to McDonald's corporate regarding this almost 2 weeks ago and there has still been no resolution or assistance from anyone at the store or regional level. If I could give zero...
Read more**This review is specific to the late afternoon and evening staff. Two stars because the morning/lunch staff are typically on th ball.
Afternoon and evening shift has poor management and rude employees. Employees laying down in the lobby. It is clear the teenagers that work there have no leadership or team concept. They will stand and watch their teammates struggle.
Multiple messed up orders, and when you bring it to the staff's attention it is my fault!? I've never brought back so many messed up meals to a single location of any restaurant, and have only had one graceful experience. Drive thru in the evening time takes 20+ minutes on a normal evening and the line isn't even that long. If you go inside to order in the evening they just stare at you and act like it is a burden to do their job.
You need a strong handed night manager/leader to get the employees in line. This is probably most of their first job and they aren't learning the basics or being held to any standard.
As a former McDonalds employee it hurts to see this. Many of the foundational workplace etiquettes, ethics, and expectations I still use today were set while working for McDonalds...
