Wendy's — Restaurant in Munford

We visited on 03/10/2022, at 2:45PM, we didn't leave until 3:42PM. We were excited about Wendy's finally being in Atoka...but the excitement wore off as we sat in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes. The employees were nice, especially the young Caucasian lady working the 1st window (her personality was everything) and the young African American lady working the 2nd window. However, the older, short, African American lady preparing chicken sandwiches had the worst attitude when we went inside to have part of our order corrected. My son is allergic to mayo and therefore we ordered both of his spicy chicken sandwiches plain. The lady preparing the sandwiches started yelling about the sandwiches being correct while the other employees and customers stopped to look at her like why is she yelling. She eventually threw the two sandwiches away and prepared two plain spicy chicken sandwiches. The second thing I noticed was a tall African American teenage boy and a Caucasian teenage girl walk in together looking as if they were dressed to go anywhere but work be greeted by an older Caucasian woman who asked them if they could start work today. They did not wash their hands at the sink but were escorted into the kitchen with everyone else after they clocked in at the 1st register on the right. I understand needing more help but that was extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. I understand that they are newly open but they truly need to work on their drive thru time, accuracy of orders, and have better...

Went tonight and ordered x3 biggie bag meals. Everything tasted fine however the wait was 30+ minutes with very few people eating inside and only 4 cars ahead of us. They could’ve ordered a ton of food, who knows. Multiple people pulled off while we were waiting just to have our order taken. While ordering I listed each biggie bag meal one at a time because they were all different. When I got to the third biggie bag meal I was met with a VERY rude toned “so you’re just getting all biggie bags?” I didn’t get a total or anything else said to me besides again, a very rude “pull up”. I pull up to the first window only to be waiting again because apparently no one was running it (she could’ve just told me that on the speaker when I ordered.) I finally decide to pull on up to the second window where my food order was correct, however, I did not receive straws, spoons and the rude attitude was still present. I didn’t get a thank you, have a great night, nothing. Not even “that’s all” , nothing. It just seems they really don’t care about their job which means other areas could be lacking like cleanliness or anything else if people who don’t care are working the place. Maybe it’s the work environment or management making the employees like that but if that’s the case, I’d say it’s time for mixing...

I haven’t eaten at Wendy’s in 10+ years and figured I’d give it a shot…that was a mistake. My friend ordered a taco salad, she gets them all the time in TX (where we’re from). It’s like they gave her a side salad, with a 1/2 container of chili, and some chips and a drink. $12 for that?! I got a Big Cheddar Bacon Cheeseburger, add lettuce and pickles. They forgot the pickles, there was maybe a teaspoon of the cheddar cheese and bacon jam, and they put it on a regular bun (it’s supposed to be on a toasted cheddar roll). $10 for that?!

Service was horrible! The employee taking the orders was not taking the orders as people were waiting, even though there was a line. He’d ask you to wait a moment, then he’d take the order. I sat right next to the window and watched him lean against the counter. I was wondering why the cars behind me when I ordered, weren’t behind me, anymore. My guess, they were trying to keep their order times short, by not taking the order when someone pulled up. I get to the pick-up window and half of the employees were just goofing around behind the counter. If there’s a line that long, everyone should be working…7 cars in line when I pulled up, and there were just as many, if not more, when I pulled out. Guess I’ll stay away for...
