I love Krystal, but I have to say, this may be the worse location of any I've ever been to. Always understaffed or staffed with rude and/or incompetent employees. Never in a uniform or with a visible name tag. They can't make change on cash payment properly. It's always a long wait time and the food order is incomplete wrong and food is usually cold or room temperature, at best. This location is consistently out of standard menu items, to the point where I just leave. Literally out of buns for sliders or breakfast sandwiches. I was once told they were out of all drinks, no soda coffee juice at breakfast hours. Several times I've personally witnessed random people coming out of the back of the store with boxes, marked with the Krystal logo, and being loaded into personal vehicles, while a Krystal employee hold the door open for them. I'm sure this location is being ransacked by thievery. Today, I go for a quick breakfast stop. The trip took 20 minutes, I was the only vehicle in the line. Order was incomplete, food was so cold it was inedible and the employee running the drive-thru was either high on something educable slow or didn't have the mental acuity to have face-to-face interactions with customers. For years, the Sunrise combo came with 2 sunrises, drinks, and a potato side of some sort. When I received my sunrise combo, I had one more sunrise. When I inquired why I was rudely explained it only comes with 1 now. I asked, since when, I was told like a month. If this is true, it's a shame disappointing, and not worth the price, but I ordered this same meal last week and received 2 sunrises as always. I've finally decided not to ever return to this location. It either needs new management and an overhaul or just to be...
Read moreThere are so many fun ways in this world to waste your money. Please don't let eating at this Krystals be one of them. It was a dark and stormy night. One or two cars in the parking lot; probably employees, we thought. And, it was many hours before the store was supposed to close. We got out to go into the lobby, and we were met by two employees who were leaving, and they said the lobby was closed. We got back into the car and went through the drive through. As soon as we pull up to the mic, the female employee inside says, "It's going to be a five-to-10-minute wait." We were the only car in the drive through, but we said okay. My wife attempts to order a "Five for Five," and she requested a corn pup. "We don't do Corn Pups," the employee said. My turn to order. "I would like two plain double cheese Krystal's with a little Chili Pup chili on them." This is how I used to make them myself when I worked in a Krystals many years ago. "We don't do that," the employee said. Actually, they do, because they have, at this store no less. Anywho, I'm wondering, "What would you say you do here?" and "If you give me five minutes, I can make it myself." But I didn't say any of that out loud. Instead I said, "Just cancel the order, please." At least one of two things was happening here: She didn't know what she was doing, or she didn't want to be there. Unless you enjoy throwing money away, put this Krystals in...
Read moreTried to eat here Thursday, Jan 23 around 5:15pm. Drove up, lights on, "open" sign lit. Doors locked and a young woman sitting at a table inside, on her phone, turns and smirks at me after I knocked on the window. I pointed to the open sign and then the locked door. She just shrugged her shoulders and turned back to her phone. I continued to stand there for a minute as I could see employees working behind the counter and was hoping to get the attention of one of them. When one of them came out from behind the counter, I knocked again. He looked at me, then said something to the female who was sitting there ignoring me. She turned around to face me and laughed, then pulled out her phone to start recording me. I left and she kept her phone pointed towards me the whole time until I pulled away from the parking spot. I had driven about 8 miles out of our way because my 82 year old father, who hadn't had a Krystal in a couple years or more, was having a craving for one. Terrible disrespect. If you aren't open for business, at least have the decency to turn off your "open" sign. No excuse for this. It's one thing to have to close early, it's much worse to be treated with such disrespect. I feel like this is a management problem because clearly neither employee was concerned about getting...
