The restaurant is a very beautiful decorated restaurant and a true pleasure to walk into. The service was good other than we couldn't find our waiter when we wanted to leave so we ended up walking up to the entrance where the cash register was.
The food was interesting in that the selection look great and basically it was good however they lacked attention to detail when you compare what was offered in the menu to arrived on the plate.
The lentil soup was a very nice starter that was brought immediately to the table.
My friend had a chicken shawarma that was identified as being in a pita bread. However what arrived on the table was wrapped and cut like a a wrap with a thin skin for the wrap it was not a pita bread. Flavor was excellent and other than not being the bread expected it was a very nice meal.
I ordered a Greek salad and an olive plate. The Greek salad had very nice fresh vegetables in it however, it did not have a few items that are very standard in a Greek salad. They used green instead of kamata olives. They did not have any peppercinis. There was no cold cuts on it. And it actually required more dressing than was there.
The olive plate was a disappointment. When ordering an olive plate I would expect several types of olives. This was a small dish of unpitted green olives. The same type that were used in the Greek salad. The diversity in olives is an important part of the cuisine so I was hoping to get several types.
It also would have been nice if they had provided a small dish to put the olive pits in so I didn't just have to pile them on the table.
I did speak briefly with the owner who I met outside the restaurant. Very nice gentleman and he did want to give us something else to try but we were on a very tight time schedule so had to forgo that due to our time constraints.
I will look forward to going back again and trying other items on the menu. Having traveled extensively I enjoy that cuisine and look forward to finding a nice restaurant like this to enjoy it in.
As a side note they may want to consider changing the video background behind the musician. He was very good but the timing and the actions on the screen distracted from his music...
Read moreKeroles was our server. He was nice. We did wait unnecessarily for drinks. Food was good. We were not familiar with the names of the food, but our server helped us to understand. We were served a soup and pita bread as we sat down. When we were explained the menu, we were told that the meat entrées come with just rice. I’m not sure our orders were understood. Average entree was about $25. We both ordered salads with another salad plate and it was a bit expensive. They were out of some of the menu items on the salad selections. We added meat to our salad and seemed were charged for an entire entree for just a partial side of meat. Price was extremely high for what we received. Over $100 with no appetizers or alcohol for two people eating salads with a side of meat. The quality of the meat was great and the vegetables in our salads were fresh. The place was very clean. If I can make another suggestion, I would strongly suggest that this restaurant make new menus that include pictures and descriptions of the food so that you have a better understanding what you’re ordering. Too high for...
Read moreTerrible! From A to Z! The bad experience started from the very first minute. The waiter greeted us and immediately said the restaurant opened just yesterday and that 85% of the menu items were unavailable 🤨 Why open if you’re not ready? The menu looks amazing, makes you want to try everything, but reality is completely different. Service is zero. Staff is untrained, confused, and doesn’t know what to do. One guy came to pour water, and his hands were shaking because he clearly wasn’t trained. How did management decide to open a restaurant like this? If you’re not ready, why advertise and invite people? The only good thing was that they kept refilling our water maybe because there was no food to serve. We waited one full hour. Still no food. We were hungry, the kids were hungry, and we had to leave. For anyone thinking to visit, please come with a lot of patience. The menu isn’t even ready only a QR code with dish names, no photos, no descriptions. You don’t even know what you’re ordering. Total disappointment....
