I went to Rick’s BbQ on warrior drive which has very good food but the employee may need to be spoken to by management. Pulled up to the drive thru speaker and asked what is on the number 7 loaded potato meal. She said hold on. I waited ….. she came back on I asked the same questions again ……. She said hold one ….. at this time I figured ok they are busy and she needed to ask some one in that back …… then she came back to the speaker and asked what I wanted to order . ….. I said this is my 3rd time asking what is on the loaded potatoe number 7……she was abrupt and rude stated what was on it I said ok I wanted to order the meal …… she said what meat I said pork she said ok come to the window. I said ma’am I believe the meal comes with a drink and I want Pepsi please she said come to the window …… when I went to the window she said a total very low I could not understand her I said I am hard or hearing what was the total she said 12.05 and said I ain’t about to loose my job over this lady …….and handed my card back to me. I said I waited patiently and had to ask 3 times what was on the number 7. She said well I couldn’t hear you because I had to change my battery pack. I said ok but I was trying to be rude I just was to know what the meal included. She shut the window and made someone else hand me my food. This was the as young lady with the long black braids. She may need to rethink her job. If you don’t want to interact with public then she needs to change her job. At no time was I smearky rude nor did I raise my voice or cuss yet she was going to be rude and loose her job over me asking and searching for and answer ? She was rude when she opened the window and said I quote “ I ain’t about to loose my job over this woman” Rick's BBQ I will go one more time but if I am talked to like this again I will not do business with them...
Read moreI was in the mood for ribs and was in Murfreesboro, TN for the first time in a long time so I decided to stop by Rick's Barbecue. I use to live in the Boro and remember enjoying their sandwiches, hot dogs and loaded baked potatos. It's hard for me to be negative as I would usually just not say anything at all. But I was disappointed in the ribs today and even the sides (beans & mac) we're surprisingly very bland. The ribs had very little flavor (no bread or at least it wasn't offered or suggested) and their signature sauce did nothing to inhance the meal. Instead of getting a To Go box I just threw the leftovers away; however, I should add this decison was partly based on the negative experience I had with the highschool aged young lady that took my order. I get it we have bad days but she has to understand that the owners count on repeat customer's. When I asked her a question (1 question) about the menu it was clear that I was getting on her nerves. I was also 1 of 4 people eating at the restaurant and as the lady passed by my table there was never any communication as far as how is your meal, do you need refill or a to go box etc... (disclaimer customer's are able to make their own drinks but you understand the point). I felt sorry for the elderly lady that ordered after me. She ordered a roast beef sandwich and was told by the same young lady in a very rude tone that they didn't have that kind of sandwich with out offering any suggestions. It really confused the elderly women and caused her to order something quickly just not to be a problem. I'm going to consider this just an off day for Rick's and visit them again in the future but the employee needs to humble herself...
Read moreI ordered dinner for my husband and I, including a Diet Fruit Tea. I was given a Fruit Tea. I wasn't told they don't have diet Fruit tea. My husband drank it, and his sugars went up to 451. I called Rick's and talked to a male who claimed he's a manager, although on the receipt the manager is listed as Anne Marie Brentz. I told him the problem and his response was, What do you want me to do about it? Fruit tea is usually sugary. We don't have diet. (Again, this wasn't mentioned while I was ordering it). When he started to give me attitude, I tried to tell him I'm not trying to argue, but this could kill someone. He hung up on me. I will never go back there nor will I recommend them to anyone.
Edit: I stated the problem without screaming, yelling, cussing, or being derogatory in any way, shape or form. My sole reason for calling was I'd asked for a diet tea. I wasn't informed that they're not sold there, which you'd think would be the response. I was just given a regular tea without comment. All I wanted was to inform you guys of the incident because that can have serious consequences, and I thought you guys would consider this if this situation should arise in the future. Screaming would have not been constructive at all ... but then, neither was trying to reason with you guys. Please don't lie about me again. I just ask that you keep the diabetic in mind in the future. Please,...
