This place is so terrible! Only reason I’m giving it a one star, is because I have to in order for me to write this post. Some of my friends and I went here today for an outing. First off, I called them on Saturday after only seeing individual prices displayed on their website for activities, to ask if they had a play card that would allow you to play multiple activities instead of having to individually pay for them. On the phone I was told that they did not, but once I got there, I was able to purchase one. Secondly, my friends and I wanted to get on the flight simulator machine they had there. There were no clear directions about how it worked, and no one was standing by to operate it. We went to the front desk to ask them how we could get on. One young man told us that you had go pay money for it, while another young man told us he could just add money to our play cards for it. My friend added money to her play card and they swiped it for the both of us to ride it. However, once we got over to the attraction, my card was swiped, and we told the young man over there that we had already swiped to get on the attraction. We asked him why he had swiped our play card again, and he just looked and us not saying a word. After this, all of my swipes were gone. Finally when we were getting ready to leave. We wanted to redeem tickets we had gotten for some prizes. We had both paper tickets, and tickets on our card. So the young man at the counter totaled everything up and allowed us to go pick prizes. Once we went over to redeem our prizes, another young man was at the counter, and he told us we didn’t have enough tickets, even though we tried to explain to him that we had paper tickets as well, and the guy that let us through counted all of our tickets up. Eventually, we had to get the manger involved to resolve the situation. Long story short, don’t go here if you’re looking for real family fun. This place is a nightmare, and the people that work here...
Read moreGood fun for a cheap price. I paid for two rounds of go karts for two people, mini golf for two people, and three rounds of batting for $50 total. I really like that they include the tax in the final price so it’s a nice whole number. The interior arcade has been recently upgraded so all of the games are new and every activity uses a card system just like other arcade franchises. My only hope is that someday they can renovate the other areas soon (golfing, go karts, batting, equipment). The needed equipment upgrades and small renovations/repairs aren’t deal breakers, but if they ever do get fixed I would say this place could see just as much traffic as any other arcade franchise.
If this is your first time going here are some tips:
For the mini golf don’t forget to pick up a ball and score card. Follow the numbers on the floor to play the course in order and place your ball on the black mat.
for the batting cage they go in order of speed, the first cage is slowest and the last the fastest. Start at the first one if you are new to batting or can’t hit fast balls
For the go karts don’t be afraid to go fast. I had my gas pressed all the way down and if you’re good at turning you don’t have to slow down. Keep an eye out for a red light at the pit stop though, that means slow down and return your kart. The karts do auto turn off so you can’t keep going. When you’re done you have to stay seated until all the riders come back so nobody bumps you...
The game selection is really great, although it gets pretty pricey when many games are $1 per swipe. By the time you play one game to completion as a group, you’ve spent $10 in a few short minutes. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fun ... but it adds up very fast.
I was excited to see they had an old school foosball table, but when I couldn’t get it to accept my money no matter how hard I pushed in the coin slide and needed help, the guy who helped me seemed pissed I asked. I realize most people don’t read the sign that says push hard, but I practically kicked the coin slide with no budging. It was super sweet of the guy lounging behind the counter to roll his eyes at me though, such a gem of a guy.
When it came time to cash in my child’s tokens, we were ignored by the chit chatting staff (talking to each other and ignoring customers), and then glared at because we were rude enough to ask to be helped during a lull in their conversation. While my daughter enjoyed herself, I found the staff’s rude attitudes to be a gigantic turn off, and I won’t waste my money there again to employ them. It takes pretty awful customer service to get a reaction out of me, and this was pretty much the worst I’ve ever seen.
My advice,...
