Over the past year I have stayed here at the Motel 6 for extended stays from a couple weeks to a few months. Basically I have lived at the motel 6 off and on over this past year. My most recent stay I had alot of things going on and at some bad timing I was told I would not be allowed to pay for another extended stay. I was paying weekly and would pay for my room on Thursday mornings. Anyhow during the week prior to my being asked to check out after my paid week was up I was told it was due to construction reasons which I do recall alot of construction and upkeep being done to the rooms. Anyhow about 90% of guest who stay in the very back section of rooms are long term extended stays like myself I know of one couple here that said they have been living here at the motel for a few years. Well I had a very bad week. My wife and I was having big fights in the parkinglot resulting in the police being called more than once and sadly my wife being arrested. Well on this particular past stay when I was asked to leave my wife and I was separated. I had just went thru a really really slow week of work in which my check was very short and my wife had taken off with our only vehicle leaving me in the room with our two dogs and a car full of our belongings to pack move out of the room and somehow carry all these things plus have two pit bull mixed 1 and half year old pups on leashes and I was having to do this by myself. And to top it off exactly 30 mins after I had to check out I had only been able to get 50 yards away from the motel across the street when a huge rain and thunder lighting storm hit. So I was standing in the parkinglot across the street with enough bags and possessions packed up in our bags to fill a Jeep grand Cherokee from the back all the way up to the two front seats worth of stuff and my two pups on leashes tied to my arm. And its pouring down rain like it was a hurricane out there. Worst day I had all year. I was homeless alone and couldn't afford to book a room anywhere else in town. In my frustrated and angry state of mind I received an email from the motel 6 and I sorta took my misfortune out on them in the review. Now I do have to apologize of my past review I was unable to find it so I could change it or delete it so I am here writing a new one to make up for it. Now like any motel this place has its pros and cons. One con being the location and its not the owners or staffs fault but this area has alot of high drug dealing and homeless activity all hours of the day and night. Most time no one will bother you but there are lots of ppl coming and going here. Again not the motels fault though they do the best they can to be as friendly and accommodating as they can. They rarely troubled me at all and because they new my work hours was graveyard shifts from 7pm-7am they would wait till later in the afternoons between 2 and 4 to check if I needed housekeeping service for my room. The front desk morning lady Ms. Hashi is very kind and friendly and makes getting my room paid for getting my cards fixed cause they stopped working and getting servic for my room very quick and simple. Soon as she would see me pull open the office doors she would already have my room and details up on the computer ready to put my weekly rent thru. Never once have I felt this place was run down or unwelcoming. They have a very friendly staff and they do anything they can to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Wifi signal low well in just a few mins you would see the manager out in the lot with his remote handheld controller for the wifi network rebooting and adjusting it so you would get a stronger connection. This is a very nice motel and great priced rooms. Any time I needed an affordable pet friend place to stay i have looked here first. They are my first choice place to try and book a room at. Thank you so much for being a blessing for my wife and I struggling to save up and try and find a home or apartment to move into. If not for you guys we would be stuck living in our jeep with our dogs most of the time....
Read moreI stayed here with my two babies and I had to constantly ask for room service and it was a guessing game if they would actually come to clean the room. The cleaning people would have me take my own trash out downstairs when we stay upstairs, put my own sheets on the bed, I would have to walk to the office to get my own towels AND they even went as far to try and get me to sweep and mop the floors when i had my two babies with me and never heard of a hotel letting you touch their chemicals they clean with because it’s a liability…I’ve worked in hospitality before and there’s a lot of rules that they don’t follow here that’s mandatory to all hotels for the public’s health and safety. Then when I finally did get them to clean fully ONCE they had me wake my babies up and told us to stand outside until they were done even though I had them in the playpen to keep them out of the way because I was not comfortable taking them out of the room with how easy it is for them to get to the stairs and I can’t hold my one year old and three year old by myself. I gave up and brought my own cleaning supplies since they insisted I clean my own room anyways.
The hotel staff I tried telling them and even took videos of them having me clean the room since they didn’t believe me that the cleaning people were indeed doing this and then they told me that we are on the “do not rent list” even though my room is still tidy…just not because of them. They said it was out of their hands because the owner was not here today and I asked to have them contact me to resolve this one simple issue and they said that they could not. Multiple people staying in the rooms next to me will come out and talk to me about these same issues and the owners still won’t correct these things. People shouldn’t be afraid of being kicked out for room service forcing you to do their job. If it was just me changing my own sheets it would’ve been fine but when they tried to hand me the broom and mop I was like…what are you even here for because I’m just a guest here. I don’t know what their cleaning standards are and I do keep my room as realistically clean as possible but if you’re paying people to clean our rooms you probably should have them clean and not have them hand your guests mops and brooms.
Hopefully the owner sees this and will make it right cause I’m hoping it’s just a miscommunication and they are just not seeing what their cleaning people are doing to the guests. If they want me to deep clean for them I will gladly take a paycheck for that because THAT is not room service whoever they have hired now. And the owner shouldn’t be spending money on people who ask guest to...

we have a large dog who is our baby, very sweet and well trained. there are very few options in the area that will accommodate him. the Hilton offered us a room at $148 and we stupidly tried to save money and were told by Motel 6 staff that they accept large dogs. paid $65 for the night.
the first room key didnt work, instead of fixing the key, he gave me a new one for a new room. checked room, seemed fairly clean for the price, get what you pay for.
we werent there half an hour when manager walked past our open curtains for the third time and knocked, said someone complained the dog was barking...well thats funny because you walking past our window was the only thing he barked at in the first place....
one creepy guy in parking lot intentionally let my husband see his gun and kept staring us down every time we went outside to smoke. he kept coming and going from the parking lot and never went in a room, kindof feel like he was drug dealing.
next morning, we were packing up to leave and the entire indian family that owns the place was following mom around while she cleaned the rooms. I had my dog outside and the older son (probably 8-10 years old) was speaking kindly to the dog and approached us like he wanted to pet him. we encouraged him to approach and his mother came out of the room and physically threw her son into the room she was cleaning because SHE was afraid of my patiently sitting short leashed dog. My husband informed her that we have soent good money on k-9 training for our dog and she kept screaming NO, NO, NO!
if your family is afraid for their lives with large dogs, dont welcome them to your business. you will not traumatize me and my dog because you are deathly scared of a dog that is more well behaved and controlled than you ever will be.
dirtiest, smallest, most unsafe Motel 6 I have ever stayed at and my husband claims them as his favorite hotel. Never again at this one, I will GLADLY spend the $200 next time to stay at a clean and courteous hotel with real customer service. If you cannot afford better, I would advise you to stay in your damn car for the night, dont give these people any money no matter how desperate you are.
This place just needs to be put out of its misery and bulldozed to the ground. the disrepair and disrespect are completely unacceptable and I am ashamed that I spent my husbands hard earned caah on this place. we would have been better off sleeping in our truck or...
