We’ll start with the “wait”. We had a 10 minute wait time, perfectly okay with us as it’s a Saturday and that’s the most minimal wait we’ve ever experienced here. 20 minutes comes and goes, and we notice parties of all sizes (including bigger than our party of 6) are being sat before us. All of which arrived AFTER us. We then approached the hostess stand to ask when we will be seated, and were met with an attitude from the 6 ladies standing at the hostess stand. This can all be confirmed by their cameras, but the manager told us that WE were wrong and refused to check cameras after being unwilling to listen to us. This all could have been solved by a simple apology for overseeing our party, but even an “I’m sorry, we made a mistake” was out of the question.
We finally get sat, food comes, all seems fine. Order we red a medium rare steak, comes out medium well. We bring it up, as the steak is tough and we aren’t paying $30 for a steak not cooked anywhere near how it was ordered. Waitress says new one will be out in a few minutes. 35 minutes later, a steak comes out. We ask for a manager. At this point (when the steak comes out for the 2nd time), everyone is done eating. I let the manager know we won’t be paying for a meal that we didn’t get to eat, especially with the other 5 people at the table who are done eating. Manager gets an attitude and is completely dismissive of us. I did not pay for the steak, in the end. The manager’s name that addressed us so poorly is Ariel, and I HIGHLY recommend Texas Roadhouse come in and revamp their leadership. There is zero accountability from this team and its leadership team.
If you want better service or a steak that’s done as you order it, go down the road to longhorn or simply make it at home like we...
Read moreI was in town on business this past week and met my family at 4:30 for an early dinner. There 8 of us and the waitress did an excellent job of taking and confirming our order. However, when the salads came out I did not receive one nor had I received my drink. The manager came by and asked how everything was and I explained I had not received my drink or salad. The manager asked what I ordered and said it would be right out. About 5 minutes later, after everyone else was done, my salad and drink arrived. The manager stated another wait staff had taken my salad by mistake. Then, the entrees came out but I did not receive my order. Finally, the waitress came by to check how everything was and I notified her I had not received my order. She looked very confused and disappeared for a minute. When she finally came back I was told the ticket had not printed all the way and that is why my order was not prepared. She then kept saying your salad will be right out even though I tried to explain I finally received my salad and I had a steak for my entree. The manager finally brought my entree out, my family was done eating by this time, and all she said was oh so sorry about that. I asked what she planned to do to make it right and she said “I will take care of it”. When I got the bill they did take $11 off my portion. I truly miss the days when you could expect good service and anything other than excellence was offensive to the company and restitution was made to ensure the customer was satisfied and would remain a customer.

Read moreWe decided to celebrate my moms 60th birthday at this location. Our food was great, staff was friendly - we had zero complaints until the very end.
I know first hand how important tipping wait staff is. I was a waitress all throughout high school and college, and during that time I even taught my friends and family outside of the industry how important it is to ALWAYS tip.
Noah (our waiter) passed out our checks at the end the night. My brother and his girlfriend were the FIRST to pay their check. Mind you - again this is a birthday dinner so we were in no hurry to pay and leave.
Noah came to me and showed me my brothers check and said “ really? You guys aren’t tipping me? “ and scuffed off. I said “excuse me?”
To be completely honest, it took everything in me not to give him an earful. He’s saying this to me as my brother is getting cash out of his wallet and placing it on the table. Again he was the first to pay so to come to me and say “ you guys aren’t tipping me” when he had NO idea what he was talking about was completely disrespectful and rude.
He then says “ I’m sorry big parties don’t tip me “ well Noah that’s not us. Did you talk to your other parties like that? Did you wait until your other parties left or do you assume for all your parties?
Completely inexcusable and ruined our night. I don’t care how many I’m sorry’s he gave me - you don’t assume. The stigma that large parties of black people dont tip...
