Chop House Gyro - Murphy - Now Open! — Restaurant in Murphy

Was tired after work craving chicken and rice. Saw this new place open and decided to try it since all the other options were further. I ordered the Manhattan Platter, which came with fries, chicken, gyro, falafel ,pitas and a salad.

Portions were very filling and easily the best value for how much you pay in the Murphy area.

Presentation was superb and the restaurant was very well decorated and I loved the variety of seating arrangements

Some of my personal criticisms for the food were:

Falafel could have been a little more plain and crispier outside. The falafel had spices inside which were delicious however I was not expecting the different taste and had mixed opinions with how it flowed with the rest of the meal.

The gyro meat was very tender and juicy. I do think that maybe changing the way you slice the meat could help with the presentation and palatable aspects of the platter.

I think the salad could have had more tomato, and cucumber.

Overall a 4.5 out of ten and I’m just happy to finally have NYC style halal food locally...

I had an amazing experience at Chophouse Gyro! The Chicken Bowl was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned chicken with fresh ingredients that came together beautifully. My friend ordered the Chicken Zinger Sandwich and it was fantastic too, with crispy, juicy chicken and just the right amount of spice. Wow! I have never placed an order somewhere and the whole inter order was wrong. The chicken zinger was just bread and a small piece of process chicken breast with so much flour and breading I didn’t even know there was chicken in it, but that was it! No fries at all and just chicken! Everyone’s order was wrong. I would like my money back thats how bad it was. I think they have children working in there. They do not care. And thats not what America is! Make yourself a ham sandwich before u decide...
