Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Murphy

I went into check out this restaurant that I heard on food Network that had authentic Italian food. They purchase Frozen meatballs that's not authentic. It's a little take-out joint that would be a waste of time ordering food there or talking to their employees. The employee I spoke to didn't seem like he really cared and was not informative of the questions I was asking about the food. Take it from a good old Italian boy I wouldn't let my dog eat there. And when someone says they're authentic that implies straight from Italy. I have never in my life seen an authentic Italian restaurant or pizzeria use conveyor belts! True authentic pizzerias used ovens that are 500 degrees The bottom of the oven is a block like cement so it gets a great crust to the bottom. This place reminded me of a Mr Jim's or Domino's and there's nothing authentic about them.

True authentic pizza from Italy never uses and sauce they use tomatoes and all the precious ingredients. The closest pizza style that comes close to authentic Italian pizza New York style.

So if you consider going to this pizzeria keep in mind it's not authentic. I was looking to get a meatball sub and was asking The employee you make them fresh and what is in it? I love Marco’s pizza but am disappointrd in my experience with customer service tonight. I had a pretty big order for my daughters 10th birthday & needed the pizza around 7 pm. When trying to select a “later” time, the only time it would allow was 7:45. The “ASAP” option said delivery would be in approximately 120 minutes, or 7:25 PM. I went ahead and selected that option since it was closer to 7. Well, my pizza was delivered at 5:55 pm! 1.5 hours BEFORE when it was “approximately” supposed to be here. I called and explained this to the gentleman who answered the phone. He kept stressing that because it is the ASAP option it could be at anytime and would not hear my concern. We always ordered from this place. Our family loved the pizza but I am very very disappointed with a treatment I got tonight. I had to cancel an order as my guests decided to leave. I felt bad and called to apologize but the phone was hang up on me. Every time I called back, the phone would be picked but put down right away. I used my husband line and had a chance to talk the manager. To my surprise he hang up on me too. For one order cancellation this pizza lost a lot of business.
