I.ordered online and live 25 minutes away. When I picked up they told my they were out of the ribs they order and replace with pulled pork and brisket and gave lots. Well, that was one meal we ordered for ribs. It was not a huge amount to replace, but it was fair enough for the price. However we ordered two orders of the tri meat meals which was 20 dollars each, for more than the other meals, yet there was no replacement level of meat- i.e. my wife’s pulled pork meal that cost 9 dollars had as much meat as my tri meat meal that cost 20 bucks and none of the ribs or replacement level of meat, and on top of that one of the sides was missing.. I tried to call but get no answer, and I’m not going to drive back almost a half hour. They actual food was good but nothing to write home about, and I smoke my own bbq and have for many years. It’s probably a decent place to go for quick food you eat on site so you can make a complaint on site if...
Read moreStopped by for some food on our way back to Atlanta and I have to say, the BBQ was great. Got the brisket and the Smoked Chicken Salad Sandwich (on special) and both were fantastic. The BBQ sauces were good, just wish there had been a spicy option (they had sweet and Carolina). The fried Okra was some of the best, Mac and Cheese was good, and the slaw was surprisingly good! I recommend finishing up with a slice of the key lime pie.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, however, the beer selection was a bit off this day. In fairness, we came at last call on labor day, so it was likely a fluke.
The atmosphere inside still retained the owner's origins as a food truck, with an interior façade that makes you feel like you're at a walk...
Read moreThis has become our go-to for both take-out and occasional dine in. Their food is always of the highest quality and portions are good. Our regular favorites are the wing specials, smoked chicken dinner, and when available, the smoked turkey breast. Try the fried okra, french fried potatoes - definitely a cut above. Their sauces are always on point and new items are being offered regularly.
