If you’re a fan of the original ‘Red Brick Deli’ you will likely be terribly disappointed!!! The Red Brick Deli 2 may bear a striking resemblance to the original… but the food pales in comparison to the previous ownership. My Mum had the ‘tuna melt’… which did not remotely approximate a proper tuna melt (check out the Aviator in Blairsville if that’s what you have a hankering for)… and consisted of cold albacore tuna, three paltry tomatoes, with a slice of cold Swiss on toast. I chose the ‘Bulldog’; the pastrami & corned beef were great… but the sandwich had only a thin slice of Swiss, a tiny dollop of Russian dressing, and was primarily comprised of sauerkraut. The pasta salad was beyond underwhelming… the potato salad was tasty, but amounted to a $2 up charge (the menu is rife with upcharges)… and the portions of both were half the size of the original Red Brick Deli. There is a 3.9% surcharge for credit cards… and the total of our meals with two pops before tip came to $36… which in my opinion is absolutely not worth the money for the portions and substandard quality. Our server, however, was great! I’m afraid the Red Brick Deli 2 is a hard...

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I also work in food so I know criticism only helps. The only things I have to say is that the chips that came with our sandwiches were mostly soft/stale. We also felt like the owners were not nice to us. As we were leaving, we left our drink by mistake and the lady ran it out to us which was really nice, but she seemed very annoyed that we had forgotten it and rolled her eyes at us as she handed it to us. It wasn’t in a nice way but she seemed genuinely annoyed even though it was an accident. Also as my boyfriend was ordering, he was saying what he wanted but the gentleman taking our order seemed frustrated and was being snappy with us. We had never been there before so we were not sure how to order what we wanted and we were taking a little longer but you don’t have to be rude to us. Lastly, we ordered an “overstuffed” sandwich but it wasn’t really as big as people say they are. It was just a little bigger than a normal sandwich. Sorry to leave a review like this but it just was not a good experience and would not...

It was horribly hot in the building. Our waitress was extremely rude and acted like she didn't want to be there and especially us being there.... Our food took 35 mins to come out and we were the 1st ones there when it opened. Just Overall terrible experience!!

**THEN, the waitress saw our review and literally came outside where my Mother, girlfriend, and I were sitting and started questioning us about the review asking "who did it and why?" It was THE MOST unprofessional retaliation experience of my 49 years on Earth. As my girlfriend went in to pay the bill, the Manager was the one who checked her out saying "He is no longer welcome here" clearly because of the bad review I provided. Couldn't believe how that business retaliated on us for simply leaving our thoughts on our experience. Most unprofessional whole in the wall experience of our lives. Shame on the entire staff for the pure unprofessionalism we all...

Quaint, local deli offering a selection of signature salads, overstuffed and combo sandwiches, wraps and the legend Mountain sandwich with one lb. of corn beef and one lb. of pastrami piled high on rye. Traditional decorated interior with original hardwood floors, collectibles and even an original pay phone. Even the clean bathrooms were nicely decorated. The Rueben came hot with deli fresh corned beef sliced thin and piled high, sauerkraut, Swiss and homemade Russian dressing. The rye toasted to perfection and the side of potato salad was creamy with plenty of flavor. Staff were friendly and very apologetic, as they were short staffed and the loss of my order resulted in over a hour wait. They were so overwhelmed they closed early. Take the time and support your local businesses.

I went there to get out of the heat during a street festival. I ordered the green salad with egg salad, tuna salad and chicken salad on top. It was terribly bland. I'm pretty sure that all three of the salads were made by adding only mayonnaise to the primary ingredient. I ordered a brownie when I ordered the rest of my meal and my server told me to wait until the end of the meal to order dessert. So when I asked for the brownie at the end of the meal, the server told me that they were out of them. When I went to check out and pay for my food, I saw the brownies in the bakery case and bought one. The brownie was very good. I will return to get another brownie. I can't imagine trying anything else on the menu.

Great deli in downtown Murphy. The decor is very quaint and attractive. Old time style window tables are available to look out at the street, regular comfortable tables and outside seating available. The restaurant is very clean and we'll kept. They are very famous for their Cuban sandwich. If you ever had one in Tampa, the home of the Cuban sandwich, you'll love Red Bricks. It is authentic as you can get. Toasted just perfect with all the right ingredients makes this the best around, period. Service is satisfactory and prices are good.
