McDonald's — Restaurant in Murray

I am very disappointed with the management and staff at this location. I decided to hold back in reviewing this location so I would have several visits to compare and allow a more thorough review. I was appalled to see a drive through worker drop several dipping sauces on the floor that was clearly wet and dirty only to place them back into the main sauce bins with no sanitizing. I have had communication difficulty with nearly ever drive-through and front-desk employee. I asked for a simple item that is not on the menu but is easy to make, a large drink cup of vanilla ice cream. I have successfully ordered it here and other location before. I do not understand why this request caused so much annoyance and confusion with the staff. All I wanted a large cup of ice cream, some chicken nuggets and a hamburger, that was it. No extra toppings or syrups. First I was told they cannot make it but I explained to them that in the past I was charged for two mc flurries and that should do it. The order was made so I waited and watched. They initially made me two regular mc flurries instead of the larger cups. I had to explain what I was wanting again by showing them the larger clear cup they use for frappes. This time a manager finally walks over and I was informed I needed to pay for an additional Mc Flurry once I explained all of this to the manager myself. I agreed to the extra charges happily. The manager decided to start speaking to the other employees in Spanish hoping I would not understand. They were clearly saying how annoyed they were and that I should pay for three mc flurries instead of two. This exchanged continued for another 5 minutes. They eventually charged me for the extra ice cream but they intentionally filled the cup halfway. When I asked them to top it off, I heard the employee make an audible comment of annoyance. All of this over ice cream. I even made multiple apologies hoping to relax the situation with no real success. I always thought it's better to be kind to your customers but I don't believe this group understands this concept. The staff here are unpleasant and obviously angry or frustrated with something. The other reviewers have pointed this out many times and yet it continues. Don't patronize this place if you care about cleanliness and...

I have never had this bad of an experience. Ever. I went through the drive-thru for a quick breakfast. Not quick. Not Breakfast.

The person taking my order was whispering so I could not hear them. My order was simple. Number 7 large sprite and two burritos. The number 7 is the Sausage McGriddle (this comes up later). Had to repeat it four times. When I go to the window to pay this dude dressed as a women asked how his Marilyn Monroe impersonation was (not joking). Thats why this guy was whispering. Weird but whatever, just want food. So I sit there for sometime thinking Cards with the chip take some time.

Pay and drive up to the next window. I sit there and wait. I see that they put my sandwich in the bag and set the bag next to the window with my drink and I wait. Five minutes goes by as I am waiting thinking that they are waiting for the burritos. Nope. The employee gets off their phone (texting) comes to the window and hands me my food, without putting anything in the bag (not joking). Just had to text for five minutes.

I drive in to work and sit down thinking that was odd but it gets better. Here is what I got. One Sausage egg McMuffin not the McGriddle. I think people make mistakes and go to bite into it and then notice that the thing is filled with egg shells. I'm looking at this thing and I think there has to be more than on whole egg shell in this sandwich. I didn't know McDonalds cracks their eggs. I thought they had a carton or jug of eggs.

I move on to the burritos. The look like destroyed. Just smashed. Like it was assembled and put in the bag by the hulk. Cant even eat this and now I'm thinking was I rude, Did I say something wrong.

I grab the hash brown to have something. It is frozen. But it's brown like it was cooked and stuck back in the freezer or something. I have no clue how any of this could all be done on accident and Im a little upset. I put my straw in and take a drink... WATER. Not that the syrup was out but straight water.

Well fun times. Don't know what I did to have someone think I deserve this but not cool. I just...

If I could do a quarter star I would. I will start off with the few good things about this place. The first is there is an older white lady who works here and is as helpful as can be. When she's not bossed around by everyone else she'll try to give you the time of day and at least be personable while taking your order. The seccond is they have another new younger gal who seems to speak only English and seemed to be ok on the friendly scale. Here is the rest......We have been here a handful of times and every time it's the same thing. One person at the register for a whole line of people and that person is usually new trying to figure things out. At least 2 free people laughing and joking in the back not working who look like managment by the uniforms they have. This place is hit and miss with the cleanliness. Depending if the cleaning lady decides to actually clean tables or just walk around looking lost. If you do come here though and don't speak spanish don't expect to be treated nicely. You will be given short answers and quickly dismissed once there done with your order. Your living big if you get a thank you out of them. Yet if your a spanish speaker you'll get a whole conversation out of them and maybe even a joke or two no matter how many people are in line. I know this because I've seen it from the line and watching from our table. It's not that I am a racist person by any means. I just state facts that I see. Although I may look white I am Hispanic and fluent in spanish. I choose not to speak it in places like this because I don't feel it's fair to be treated better just because I speak the "language" here in this store and others are treated differently. Your best bet is to go through the drive-thru but the treatment is kind of the same. The only benefit is not having to wait in line and watch 15 cars pass for every one walk in order. I obviously don't know the whole internal workings of the place but I can tell you from an outsider looking in your best bet is to come with low expectations eat your grub...
