so i’m hard pressed to even leave a 3 start review after tonight’s experience … i usually will all ways recommend this place to everyone i come across. i’ve been here multiple times over the last 5 yrs!! and it’s always beeen awesome! and more often then not i’m usually always getn the 20 piece tenders and 2 large fries to go.. but tonight i went there and got the same thing as always the 20 piece and fry’s.. but i got totally screwed on my order of 20 tenders.. every single tender was absolutely way over done and was way more crispy and dry then anything iv ever had before from this place!!! i just spent almost $50 on tenders and it all was so over done that no one wanted to eat more then first couple ones they had.
this place is absolutely gold!! and a great place to eat 99.9 % of the time. but my point behind this review is that who ever was frying the tenders and anything eles tonight needs a firm talking to about upholding the quality of Mr. charlie’s chicken!! cuz what i got tonight was definitely not something anyone should have let go out to the customers!! and i’m probably speaking for most people who went there tonight and ordered food..
and like i said this place is definitely worth 5 starts and everything great about it.. but tonight something needed to be said about what happened. and hopefully the upper management will see and fix this. cuz this ain’t the famous chicken tenders yall...
Read moreStopped in for the first time this weekend. The wife prefers chicken so we've been trying out all the new chicken joints popping up in the area. Mr. Charlie's admittedly has some of the better chicken fingers of all their competition, but I feel like they're lacking in everything else. The fries left a lot of room for improvement, the coleslaw was pretty good but nothing great, and the Texas toast (which I was most excited about) was the most underwhelming part of the meal. With a couple dollar tip we were over $10 per person, none of us are big eaters, and that even included a kids meal in the average and no drinks. For the price, and considering almost all our fries and Texas toast got thrown away, I don't think I'd ever be back. A couple other petty notes: the flies in the dining area were overwhelming, though they did a good job keeping the dining area clean. You also only get one sauce per meal, extras are $0.50. I'm not sure many people use the same sauce for chicken AND fries, so it seemed like almost a guarantee that people would want two sauces, not just one, which means you're paying even more. Glad I tried it, but there are tastier versions of the same exact meal for less money. 5 stars for the chicken itself, but everything else knocked down the...
Read morewent to the 4500 location to pick up a order i placed online. When i first got there i went to the front and asked the cashier about my order she said it was not ready yet so i hung around the counter waiting.. my order was 15 parm garlic wings "FLATS ONLY".. i overheard one of your cooks who has dimple piercings complained under her breath to your cashier about how my order was flats only... i dont think she realized i was the customer who had requested the "flats only" lol. Unprofessional to say the least... ontop of that when she called my name she called it with some sass behind it lol.
On a different note the wings were okay.. i probably wouldnt order again.. the chicken tenders though?? Fireee super good and big portions! Sauces were also good too.
If it werent for my supersonic hearing i probably would have given this a much better review. Sucks i wont be returning to this location, i might try the Draper location instead.
If you are going to complain about an order being all flat and im paying the additional fee for all flats.. you should just remove the option off the menu.. or better yet be more aware of your surroundings and that customers can hear you. unprofessional and that will always be the interaction i...
