The owner (Janet) has no respect or consideration whatsoever for the lives of human trafficking survivors in the community like me.
I used to consider businesses like Sacred Energy to be like the family I never had. I loyally and enthusiastically supported Sacred Energy with up to 25% of my monthly income, bringing all of my friends and acquaintances to the shop to check out their incredible cigars, highly effective supplements, and hape (which helps decalcify the third eye for rich meditative experiences connected with spirit guides).
I was devastated, outraged and heartbroken when they banned from me their new location for "making a mess" and accidentally taking customers coffee I thought was the hot water I requested to mix up my supplements I purchased at the store to make my medicine.
Sacred Energy couldn't even ban me face to face and explain what I've done wrong. They brought cops terrorize me outside the store and relay the news for them.
I was devastated to realize how little respect they have for my life. Their cruel, judgmental and utter disrespectful attitude brought me to tears as I was forced to see that they didn't see me as family at all: through their unfair, skewed lens, I don't even deserve to have medicine to heal from abuse.
I've been homeless for a year after being illegally evicted from my apartment just as I was getting ready to launch my music studio. I've endured extreme sexual violence and gang stalking spearheaded by my trafficker parents and ex who use law enforcement to terrorize me and avoid accountability for their criminal acts.
Being banned from a business I loyally supported when I needed the medicine and community more than ever proved to me that the spiritually conscious community has some of the most spiritually primitive and entitled people in society.
They think it's okay to have purchase people as pets or slaves, block them from jobs and opportunities in the community, and throw them in jail when the abuse gets too obvious and messy for their fake, entitled community to "feel safe."
They don't realize that the people they're suppressing are infinitely beyond their capability in certain ways, and the suffering and huge financial burden of trafficking affects everyone because we are one and feel the pain in some level.
I produced riveting content showing the effectiveness of supplements like cumaceba and cats claw in treating infections to my left hand that easily could have resulted in amputation or death if I hadn't had them in the hospital.
How shortsighted and unfortunate they're too busy judging trafficking survivors and victims of domestic violence to see the value of my online content documenting the effectiveness of their supplements in a...
Read moreI went to this location for the FREE event advertised on the Meetup app with my friend.
While the sounds were good, the ending was off-putting, uncomfortable, and deceitful.
First thing to address: at the end, the person leading the experience, Mallory Sceili, told us all to hold hands and give sentiments to each other. I have no interest in touching other people and giving statements that I reserve for family only. Doing such a thing should be explicitly stated within the details of the event, and at the very least, make the event a safe space to where the attendees can feel comfortable opting out of the physical touch and sentiments portion. Instead, weren’t event given a choice, we were TOLD to do so. I felt my boundaries compromised.
Secondly, this is advertised as a FREE event (see screenshot). I was blindsided at the end when the event host demanded that we pay $15 to her Venmo. Here’s the thing, I certainly would have tipped and possibly bought something from the upstairs shop to support them for hosting a FREE event. I’m not cheap and $15 is nothing to to me, however doing the whole bait-and-switch plus the issue I mentioned above was very off-putting to me. Upon later examination of the fine print, it told guests to plan on giving $10-$20 personal investment. Okay, so why are you grandstanding your guests to pay $15 in front of everybody?
In conclusion, I left feeling manipulated and uneasy- which is not the feeling one looks for upon attending a spiritual “meditation” session. I should have just stayed at home and listened to crystal sound bowels on YouTube for free. You’ve lost both me and my friends business permanently, and we will strongly caution our circle to avoid Sacred Energy Empowerment Center. Plus I’ve also reported the deceitful practices to the Meetup app.
Going forward, I strong encourage your business to do two things:
do not assume guests are comfortable touching or taking intimately with other guests. And if so, explicitly state this or make it a safe space to where everybody feels comfortable to opt out.
Never advertise anywhere your event is “Free” when it is absolutely not the case. Meetups has this capability if including the price in the...
Wow! 1st of all I was hoping the woman on Sunday would have been genuine and HONEST! I don’t know why she even bothered asking me for my name & phone number. I was not planning on purchasing anything I just wanted to look 1st but then I saw some items I MUST HAVE! I told her I left my CC in my car and if it went through - perfect but if it didn’t - I’d have to call my bank but it was Sunday- anyways I had already purchased in the past an amethyst cathedral from this place… so she told me… “oh no not a problem what’s your name- got my name.. asked for my phone # (she wrote it down) I told her specifically “I’ll be back Monday” total I believe was $389 for all the items I wanted… I came back on Monday spoke to the young girl with attitude problem and dressed like it’s summer time- either way.. I said my name and I was there the day before… she says “oh yes, I saw your name” as I’m waiting I started to look around and I told my daughter - look i want to buy this too (amethyst elephant crystal priced at $1,500.00.) I walk around and noticed the 2 of items I had placed on hold… and the young girl comes out to tell me… (as I’m looking puzzled as to why the items I was told they would hold are back on their shelves) … at that point she said “well do you want them or NOT?! Blah blah sort of meeting they had regarding not holding items🤷🏻♀️ either way my energy shifted and me and my daughter left immediately! Why bother giving your money away to a store that says “sacred heart” if they can’t do a simple thing of honoring their words or value a customer - customers is what makes a business. LIARS...
