Last week I came across Iron Palm Massage on Yelp. A high rating and photos of cupping therapy drew me to clicking on the business. I am very happy to have found Limhi. Since moving to the SLC area a couple years ago, I have tried quite a few massage therapists and haven't quite found the right person. I have always dealt with back issues/pain since at a young age due to scoliosis and car accidents. As a grown adult, that is compounded with a desk job and being a new mom. During the initial assessment, Limhi mentioned that I hold a lot of tension in my body. The massage was great - his style to me is like a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue and Thai all interwoven, which is amazing. You get a blend of relaxation and deep/firm pressure needed for tension release. Coupled with cupping therapy - WOW - absolutely incredible. I left with my body and mind feeling very relaxed. I got in last min today. I thought about waiting until my muscles were sore perhaps a couple days after a work out. It’s a good thing I didn’t do that cause he found areas that hurt that I didn’t even know I had. This experience was something I have never had before. He worked on my psoas muscle and also my abdominal muscles. He is attentive to what your complaints are and dedicated to working out the pains that you express. This is something I don’t find in other places. Usually they do a cookie cutter massage. This is not the case at Iron Palm. He definitely tailors it to each person. I have also sent my 250 lb solid muscle boyfriend here and he absolutely loves this place. Never has he got a satisfying massage that reaches deep in his muscles until coming here! Limhi Gomez has the strongest hands and the most tailored technique. I 100% recommend everyone trying this place!
